With the deepening of Chinese curriculum reform,Chinese extracurricular reading has become an important way to expand students' knowledge,improve students' understanding level and strengthen students' humanistic quality.I use my own favorable conditions to investigate the situation of Chinese extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in Horqin district,Tongliao City,and contribute a little to the guidance of extracurricular reading of junior middle school students.The main contents of this study include:the first part is to clarify the necessity,significance and related theories of the extracurricular reading survey,to elaborate the ideas and methods of this study,and to analyze the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.In the second part,50 teachers and 1187 students of Grade 7,8 and 9 in Horqin district of Tongliao City were randomly selected as the objects of investigation by means of questionnaire and interview.The actual situation of carrying out extracurricular reading in Horqin district of Tongliao City was summarized and analyzed from the five aspects of reading purpose and motivation,way and carrier,input,content and method,and guidance and evaluation The social environment of the extracurricular reading in Keerqin District of Liaoning city was investigated on the spot.Through the analysis and discussion of the collected data,the existing problems of the extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in Keerqin District of Tongliao City were summarized and analyzed.The third part is mainly on the basis of the above analysis,put forward some guidance suggestions and methods for junior high school Chinese extracurricular reading in Horqin district,Tongliao City.After research and analysis,in order to improve the quality of extracurricular reading of junior high school students in Horqin district,Tongliao City,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:including the change of concept,the construction of environment,the cultivation of interest,the guidance of methods and the improvement of evaluation mechanism.We should take interest as the starting point,improve reading taste;take reading quality as the guarantee,expand reading quantity;take offline reading as the basis,develop online guidance;take chapter as the basis,extend the whole book reading,etc.
