Primary school students are the flowers of the motherland and the future of the nation.Primary school stage is an important stage to establish good character and correct values.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party put forward the socialist core values,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have paid more attention to the moral education of primary school students.However,due to the deviation of the concept of moral education in family and school,and the unscientific ways and methods of education,the moral education of primary school students in our country has not achieved its due effect at present.This paper makes a questionnaire survey on the present situation of "positive discipline" in the moral education of primary school students in our country,and analyzes the main problems existing in the moral education of primary school students in our country.First,the relationship between parents and children in some families is not harmonious enough;second,the concept of parents' moral education is relatively backward;third,the level of school moral education needs to be improved urgently;fourth,the propaganda and application of "positive discipline" is not enough,and theoretical training needs to be strengthened.This paper also makes a comparative analysis of "positive discipline" in family moral education and school moral education in China,the United States and Japan,and provides suggestions and references for moral education of primary school students in China.Through investigation,analysis and comparison,this paper puts forward four suggestions on the application of "positive discipline" in the moral education of primary school students in China.One is to strengthen the propaganda of "positive discipline" theory aimed at parents and teachers,so that "positive discipline" theory is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.The second is to create a good family education environment.Parents should be "kind and firm ",abolish punishment,use encouragement effectively,strengthen family cooperation through family meetings,and enhance children's sense of belonging.Third,enhance the appeal of moral education in schools.On the basis of implementing the laws and regulations of the Party and the state on the moral education of minors,the study of harmony and respect is established environment,and develop children's ability to solve problems through class meetings and emotional courses.The fourth is to carry out the special training of "positive discipline ",which should be combined with the country," positive discipline" localization.
