Homework,a non-directive learning activity,which plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' Chinese competencies is conducive to developing students' learning autonomy and problem-solving ability.The learning of the Chinese course in the period of junior high school,which links to that of primary school and extends to senior high school,not only lays a solid foundation of Chinese learning but also improves their Chinese competencies.Chinese homework of junior high school at present,however,pays more attention to the training of basic knowledge and skills which facilitate students' adaptation to various examinations,while the improvement of students' Chinese competencies is questionable which is hardly thought to meet the new requirements of education.With the development of learning theory,situation,a key factor of effective learning is accepted gradually.Creating situation-based active speech activities has become an essential way to develop students' Chinese competencies.The situation-based design of homework obviously is one of the important strategies to improve the dilemma of current homework.This paper introduces situation into the Chinese homework design of junior high school which intends to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the current situation-based Chinese homework design of junior high school.Situation-based homework design which is based on the demand of the realistic situation and the authentic task,conditioned with vividness and liveness,as well as oriented towards the curriculum requirements,aimed at improving students' Chinese competencies comprehensively considers the different functions and values of homework.Its theoretical foundations are from Constructivism?Situational Cognition and learning theory.Situation-based design is based on the current situation of junior high school Chinese homework and the situational need.Designing situational tasks in homework guides students to carry out verbal practice activities in the authentic situation,and connects with students' learning and life.It can adapt to students' psychological recognition and be of great value to develop students' Chinese competencies and enhance students' interest in learning.In order to improve the scientificity and validity of the situation-based Chinese homework design of junior high school,this paper proposes three principles of the situation-based Chinese homework design based on the curriculum goals,relying on teaching content,and combining students' subjective status.This paper offers specific methods for the situation-based Chinese homework design from determining assignment goals?constructing learning Situations to organizing learning tasks,and finally evaluating situational assignments.At the same time,in order to combine the theory with practice to further test the maneuverability of the theory,this paper provides corresponding design cases and implementation suggestions for reference in the form of single-text texts and multi-text texts based on the current junior high school textbooks.
