As one of the seven basic abilities required by ordinary senior high school mathematics curriculum standards(experiments),data processing abilities play an important role in the development of students' mathematical literacy.However,the author found in the teaching process that there are still some problems with the data processing ability of high school students.The main manifestation is that the ability of high school students to organize data mathematically and use data to make decisions is generally not high.This article compares the data processing capabilities of two high school graduating students in the high school of Linchuan No.2 Middle School and experimental school in a certain region of Jiangxi with the same teaching philosophy and the same teachers.Under the premise that there is a huge difference in the knowledge level of junior high school Although the mathematical data processing ability of the students in the experimental school grew rapidly in high school,there is still a gap with the students of this department.The survey results show that the level of mathematical literacy still has a certain impact on the data processing ability.The graduates of experimental arts and sciences are better than those of the department.The data processing ability is worse.The data processing ability of the two Chinese students is higher than that of the science students.Although the imbalance of the students in the subjects has a certain effect on the results,it can also reflect the effect of the subjects in the liberal arts and sciences on the student's data processing ability to a certain extent.Through the comparison between the freshman's senior year and senior year tutoring class,the tuition class's data processing ability is still a little bit worse,and the science data processing level is equivalent.After one year of tuition,the data processing ability of the tuition students has not improved much.To some extent,it reflects the neglect of data processing ability under the current teaching mode.In the teaching of probability and statistics,there are four phenomena:the lagging of teaching materials,the difficulty of students to learn,the difficulty of test questions,and the difficulty of teachers to teach.Therefore,the problem of probability and statistics in teaching only focuses on calculation,which reduces the rich statistical thinking.It is purely algebraic calculation.This phenomenon is common in daily teaching.It is necessary to strengthen the training of teachers and improve the professional level of teachers in the field of probability and statistics.In the ordinary teaching process,we must also pay attention to the use of current political materials and compile school-based teaching materials.Strengthen the guidance of students,cultivate students' statistical awareness,make full use of materials,skillfully formulate test questions,pay attention to lead students to participate in statistical survey activities,pay attention to the penetration of statistical ideas,pay attention to data collection,and focus on the analysis of data results.
