Research On The Differentiation Of Urban Residential Communities Under The Background Of Urbanization

All signs indicate that,under the background of rapid urbanization,urban residential communities have become increasingly differentiated.This differentiation is a "double-edged sword".Moderate differentiation can meet the residential needs of different social classes and promote the rational and efficient use of space.Excessive residential differentiation will lead to the loss of fairness in urban space,and even cause discrimination and isolation in residence.Aggravate social conflicts.How to understand and grasp the phenomenon of residential community differentiation is a focus issue for western developed countries and China.As one of the main functions of the city,almost all modern cities use one third of the land to build residential communities.As an important part of urban geospatial and social space,urban residential community is not only the appearance of urban geospatial,but also the external manifestation of the differences between different social classes in essence.It maps between people.Social relations,which in turn constitute a space-social unity.Based on the research on the differentiation of urban residential communities in China and the West,this paper takes L City as a case study,selects certain residential communities and residents as research objects,and uses qualitative research methods to study the phenomenon of urban community differentiation in the context of urbanization..Based on the analysis of the general characteristics of residential differentiation in China's cities,the status quo characteristics and differentiation pattern of residential differentiation in City L are sorted out.By surrounding five types of residential communities,including high-end villa areas,mid-to-high-end residential communities,mid-to-low-end residential communities,low-and mid-range residential communities,and marginalized residential communities,the differentiation characteristics of L-city residential communities are discussed,and the politics,economy,culture,Individual and other multiple factors shape the differentiation of residence.Under the premise of grasping the positive and negative effects caused bythe differentiation of urban residential communities,according to the current status of residential differentiation in city L,it is proposed to strengthen urban planning regulation and guidance for urban residential community differentiation,promote the mixed residential community model,and build a "community living community".Suggestions such as allocating public resources to promote the benign development of urban residential communities.
