With the further development of science and technology,society is changing with each passing day,creative talents who can solve problems are needed in many fields.In order to make education keep pace with The Times and meet the needs of the society,mathematics curriculum standardsfor compulsory education(2011)takes problem solving as one of the four general objectives of mathematics learning in the stage of compulsory education.In order to better achieve the goal of curriculum standards,the concept of student-centered and teacher-led is embodied in the classroom,and the teaching of problem solving is of great significance.Based on reading a large number of literatures,this paper first learned about what is a problem and relevant researches on problem solving at home and abroad.Then it analyzes the relevant factors that influence the problem solving,and concludes that the situation of the problem,students' existing knowledge and experience,the representation of the problem,and the strategy of problem solving all affect the problem solving.On this basis,the steps of problem solving teaching are summarized.Then according to the concept of problem solving teaching and the steps of problem solving teaching,the content of the first two units of the seventh grade is selected for practice.In this paper,two teaching cases in the process of practice are listed.At the end of the practice,a questionnaire about learning interest,problem representation,problem solving process and problem reflection was compiled,and it was found that the performance of the experimental class was better than that of the control class in these aspects.Finally,the practical research results and enlightenment are obtained.Problem solving teaching helps students inquiry-based learning and cooperative learning,can also cultivate the students' learning mathematics self-confidence,at the same time realize the cultivating students' ability to solve mathematical problems is a long-term process.In the process of problem solving teaching,we should try to create problem situations close to the reality of students' life,and grasp the students really have difficulty in the process of problem solving.At last,it points out the deficiency of this research and the place to be further studied.
