Core literacy refers to the essential characters and key abilities that students should possess to meet the needs of lifelong development and social development.In 2017,the physics curriculum standard of senior high school put forward that core literacy of physics consist of "physical concept","scientific thinking","experimental inquiry" and "scientific attitude and responsibility".Scientific thinking,as an important part of core literacy of physics,includes model building,scientific reasoning,scientific demonstration,questioning and innovation.Scientific thinking ability is the product of scientific education and the development of students' intelligence and ability.It is a synthesis of psychological characteristics.Everyone's scientific thinking ability is in constant development,and shows their relatively stable individual differences.Therefore,a correct understanding of the development trend of high school students' scientific thinking ability in physics is important to achieve the teaching objectives and improving students' core literacy.First of all,based on the curriculum standards of the 2017 edition,the author puts forward the performance framework of scientific thinking ability,and divides the four dimensions of scientific thinking ability into more detailed performance indicators,so as to visually reflect the students' scientific thinking ability level.Then,combined with the performance indicators,the scientific thinking ability of 36 students from a senior high school in Suzhou during three years was tracked,so as to explore the development trend of high school students' physical scientific thinking ability.In addition,the performance and development trend of students' ability in various indicators of scientific thinking ability are analyzed in detail under all samples,gender group and learning ability group.The research finds that,scientific thinking ability of students shows a linear growth trend in the three years of senior high school.There are differences in the development of boys' and girls' abilities.The initial average of boys' scientific thinking ability is higher than that of girls,but after three years' physics study,girls can continuously improve and catch up with boys.Students with higher grades are always in a better scientific thinking ability level,and for the lower ranked students,the development of their scientific thinking ability is unstable,but improve obviously in the third year of senior high school.According to the development trend of students' scientific thinking ability,this paper analyses the relevant influencing factors and puts forward corresponding training suggestions.
