In today's society,the international situation is changing,society is developing rapidly,and science and technology are changing with each passing day.For the sustainable development of the country and the nation and to respond to the call of Lide Shuren,the "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards"(2017 edition)proposed the concept of core literacy in physics,including "physical concepts","scientific thinking","Scientific inquiry","Scientific Attitude and Responsibility" four parts.Cultivating students' physics core literacy is a necessary component to implement the basic functions of school physics curriculum teaching and education.Among them,scientific thinking occupies an important position in the core literacy.How to cultivate students' scientific thinking has become a hot spot in middle school physics teaching.HPS is taken from the English initials of the history of science,the history of the philosophy of science,and the history of the society of science.HPS education refers to the infiltration of the history of science,philosophy of science,and sociology of science in the teaching process,through the restoration of the process of constructing the true inquiry of scientists in history,understanding the nature of science,learning the scientific method,and critically looking at the relationship between science and society.Cultivate students' thinking habits,improve scientific thinking ability,and promote the development of core literacy.Cultivating the scientific thinking of junior high school students based on the HPS teaching model not only provides a new reference for the current junior high school physics scientific thinking education,but also injects new connotations into the education of physics history and exerts its cultural and educational functions.This article discusses how to develop scientific thinking under HPS education.This article first analyzes the connotation of scientific thinking and the teaching steps of HPS teaching mode by reading literature books,analyzes the feasibility of implementation,and obtains the knowledge strategy and teaching mode that combine with the HPS teaching mode to cultivate scientific thinking,and selects representative chapters for teaching design.Finally,combine the test paper data and interview results to analyze the experimental results.The research results show that there is a rich history of physics behind the electromagnetic part of junior high school physics.The HPS teaching model can stimulate students' interest in learning to a certain extent,promote the understanding of knowledge and the development of junior high school students' scientific thinking.
