Research purposes:based on relevant theories of sports science,with "single ball combination"table tennis practice law as a means of intervention,to college students as the research object,through the teaching experiment of 16 weeks,explore the "single ball combination" of table tennis practice method in table tennis teaching in colleges and universities for students to power quality,speed,quality,flexibility quality and the influence of table tennis skills,combined with the experiment after the satisfaction of the intervention program,students validation "single ball combination" of table tennis practice method in table tennis teaching in colleges and universities is practical and feasible.It provides theoretical and practical reference for physical education curriculum construction in colleges and universities.Research objects and methods:Two classes with 30 students(15 men and 15 women)in each class were selected by random sampling from table tennis courses of non-pe majors in Lotus Pond Campus of Yangzhou University.Through the investigation and technical test before class,all the students selected in the experiment have no technical foundation and practice experience of table tennis.One class in the control group practiced with the traditional "single ball practice".The whole experiment lasted for 16 weeks.The students in the experimental group and control group were measured in strength,speed,flexibility and motor skills before and after the experiment.The paper also makes a comparative analysis of the test conditions and discusses the influence of the method of "single and multiple balls" on physical quality and sports skills in table tennis teaching in colleges and universities.Results:After 16 weeks of teaching experiment,the experimental group was better than the control group in the standing long jump,with significant difference(P=0.032)(P<0.05).In the 50-meter race,the experimental group was superior to the control group,with a significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the forward bend of the sitting body(P=0.055(P>0.05)).After 16 weeks of teaching experiment,the experimental group was better than the control group in forehand attack,with significant difference(P<0.01).The experimental group was better than the control group on the backhand push,with a significant difference of P<0.01.After 16 weeks of teaching experiment,21 students in the experimental group were satisfied with the table tennis practice method of "combining single balls with multiple balls",more than half of the total number,and none of them were dissatisfied with the teaching method.In the control group,10 people were satisfied with the traditional teaching method of table tennis,while 13 people were dissatisfied with the teaching method.Research conclusion:1.Compared with the traditional single-ball practice,the"single-multi-ball" table tennis practice has a significant effect on improving students' strength quality and speed quality.2.Compared with the traditional single-ball practice,the "single-multi-ball" table tennis practice has no significant effect on improving students' flexibility.3.Compared with the traditional single-ball practice,the "single-multi-ball" table tennis practice has a significant effect on improving students' table tennis skills.4.Compared with the traditional single-ball practice,students are more satisfied with the"single-ball and multi-ball" table tennis practice.
