Curriculum reform is the core content of basic education reform.With the continuous promotion of curriculum reform and the implementation of new curriculum standards,the current research and practice of school-based curriculum development is mainly aimed at improving students' core literacy.Scientific inquiry is an important way to carry out biological research,and it is also one of the important contents of the core literacy of biology.The purpose of this study is to promote biology learning in the way of scientific inquiry through the supplementary learning of school-based curriculum,so as to gradually improve the comprehensive ability and essential character of students to solve practical problems.At the same time,it can also promote the professional development of teachers and the construction of the school characteristic integrated curriculum system.In the implementation of school-based curriculum,in order to implement the effectiveness of the curriculum,teachers' evaluation,student self-evaluation and mutual evaluation are used to evaluate students' performance.Based on the concept of scientific inquiry,combined with regional,school characteristics and existing curriculum resources,this paper takes the development and practice of bio logy school-based curriculum of X high school in Yixing City as an example to conduct research,develop and practice.This study analyzes the internal and external environment of school-based curriculum development through interviews,questionnaires and other methods.This research is based on the relevant curriculum development theory and the existing abilities and needs of students.It combines the unique resources of our school and expands on the basis of the existing biological experiments.Finally,a series of interesting and operable exploration activities were developed and integrated to form a school-based textbook-"bio maker space".In order to promote the development of teachers specialization,it encourages teachers to evaluate themselves,think constantly and improve teaching.In order to improve the school-based curriculum of biology in our school,in the process of implementation of the school-based curriculum,the methods of interview and investigation are used to evaluate the school-based curriculum.The research results show that the school-based curriculum of biological maker space,which is developed and implemented by our school to promote the personalized and comprehensive development of students,is operable and meaningful.First of all,through the implementation of the curriculum,to a certain extent,it has changed the way of students'learning,and greatly aroused the students' interest in learning.Students' ability of scientific inquiry has been improved to a certain extent.Students can use scientific inquiry thinking and basic methods to try to solve some practical problems in production and life.It has a good supplement to the deficiency of daily biology teaching,which has a certain effect onimproving students' core literacy.Moreover,in the process of development,because teachers need continuous exchange and discussion,and further learn to familiarise themselves with relevant professional theories,teachers' professional ability has been improved.Finally,"bio maker space" is one of the important contents of the "three fragrance" integrated curriculum system,which is conducive to the construction of school characteristics.However,this study also found that the implementation of school-based curriculum in our school could not be normalized.Through the analysis of the whole process of development and implementation,the author thinks that there are still some problems such as insufficient school-based awareness,limited school-based resources and utilitarian curriculum evaluation.In view of these problems,the relevant personnel involved in the development and implementation of school-based curriculum need to further think about its significance and education purpose,so as to continuously improve the school-based curriculum and give full play to the function of school-based curriculum.
