Science education is an important part of preschool education and has always been a difficult area for kindergarten teachers.On June 25,2021,the State Council issued the "Outline of Action Plan for National Science Literacy(2021-2035)",General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the preface: "Scientific and technological innovation and scientific popularization are the two wings to achieve innovative development.It is equally important." The most common behavior in children’s science learning process is exploratory behavior,and how to effectively cultivate children’s inquiry ability is a question worthy of further research.Children have innate curiosity and enthusiasm for inquiry.They operate,inquire and learn science all the time.They focus on cultivating children’s inquiry ability and guide children to gain knowledge of the surrounding material world through personal experience and active inquiry.Experience and walk into the palace of science.This research mainly focuses on the six large classes of children in Yantai X Kindergarten,and interviews 18 kindergarten teachers at the same time.This paper adopts observation method,investigation method and case analysis method.Through investigation and understanding of these aspects of the guiding method of inquiry,it is found that in scientific inquiry activities,teachers pay attention to children’s independent inquiry,but they cannot satisfy children’s participation in the whole process of inquiry;they pay attention to knowledge and experience,but ignore children’s scientific emotional attitude;the content of inquiry is simplistic;Scientific methods and practical operations,as well as the accumulation of young children’s recording experience.Aiming at this problem,this paper summarizes and analyzes the factors that affect the development of children’s scientific inquiry ability in large classes,mainly from children,teachers themselves and environmental factors.Finally,from the aspects of teacher guidance,scientific education activities,environment and material preparation,and family support,this paper proposes supportive strategies for cultivating children’s inquiry ability in large classes.
