Body Consumption In Field Transformation

Makeup can beautify people's appearance,display their unique aesthetic taste and add personal charm.Under the influence of social and psychological factors,in order to accumulate their own image capital,female college students,whose main task is to learn cultural knowledge,gradually pay attention to and learn make-up and improve their body consumption level.In order to understand the practical logic behind this phenomenon,this research uses interview as the main research method,uses Bourdieu's Field Theory as the analytical tool,and combines macro and micro data to get the logic of female college students' makeup.Firstly,this paper analyzes the three factors that shape the makeup habitus of female college students,including intergenerational experience,peer groups and mass media,points out the field changes faced by female college students after entering university and acquiring adult identity,and discusses the self-objectification tendency of female college students and the leading role of commercial capital in the construction of individual psychological level.Secondly,combined with the makeup practice of female college students,this paper discusses three kinds of transformable paths of image capital,namely,economic capital,social capital and cultural capital,and then divides the makeup orientation of female college students into three ideal types,namely,pragmatism orientation,expressionism orientation and consumerism orientation,and specifically analyzes the role of makeup habitus in female college students' life field Way.Finally,it analyzes the reverse construction of the whole field by the makeup practice of female college students,including the structural state and conceptual products in the field.It holds that the individual makeup practice causes the tension of the field structure,and constructs the so-called "femininity".By combing the practical logic of female college students ' makeup behavior,it can be concluded that the female college students' makeup behavior is essentially to accumulate image capital in order to gain a more advantageous position in the transformed field.This repeated imitating behavior also continues constructing the form of the field.
