In the 21st century,it is an era of rapid development of science and technology.Science and technology are the primary productive forces.Innovative talents are the source of national social and economic development.Cultivating innovative talents has become the top priority of modern education in China.As a mechanism for cultivating innovative talents,the subject competition has undergone 30 years of development,and the discipline competition activities have made great progress and progress.The development of academic competitions in higher education institutions is more active and extensive.However,due to the limitations of the university's own conditions,there still exist some weak links and critical problems that need to be resolved urgently in the managemen,which restricts the development of the discipline competition,its main performance is:the colleges and universities does not pay much attention to subject competitions;the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in the guidance is not enough;the enthusiasm of the students is not enough;the pre-competition training mode is relatively simple,and the effect is not good;the graduation of outstanding students lead to the decline of conpetition performance.Therefore,combing the problems existing in the process of organizing the competition of the disciplines and finding out the targeted solutions is to promote the development of the discipline competition and cultivate An important issue for innovative talents.Due to the different actual situation of different colleges and universities,there is a big gap in the financial strength,teachers' strength and other aspects,while the discipline competition management and competition system have low requirements for the strength of the school,and the work effect is relatively obvious,therefore,the research on discipline competition management can provide practical methods for different types of colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province to improve the level of discipline competition.This paper takes the management of different types of colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province as the research topic,through the research and comparison of two different types of universities in Zhejiang Province,it finds the problems in the management of the subject competition and try to study the subject competition management from the perspective of managers,teachers and students.and put forward targeted Suggestions.First of all,the author selected two different types of universities in Zhejiang Province as the research object,and conducted research on the work and related regulations of the two schools in the process of organizing the competition.Secondly,the author will expand and compare the results of the previous research one by one to find out the differences in the work and system of the two schools in the competition,as well as the differences in the purpose of the competition between teachers and students.Thirdly,find out the problem from the differences between the two schools in the competition work and system.Finally,according to the problems found in the previous article,four proposals such as "improving the discipline competition system and optimizing the management system" are proposed.
