With the development of core accomplishment,the theory and practice of students'development of core accomplishment in China have been discussed by experts in the field of education.It is an essential character and key ability for students to adapt to their lifelong development and social development.Ability to think and judge independently;Careful thinking,able to analyze problems from multiple angles and dialectically,making choices and decisions aimed at the pain points and difficulties in education reform,which is also in line with the essence of critical thinking.Critical thinking can help students look at problems in life critically,draw conclusions cautiously,and view others' opinions fairly,which is of great significance to their growth.Therefore,this paper focuses on the cultivation of critical thinking of primary school students.Based on the existing teaching model,it strives to integrate the cultivation goal of critical thinking into teaching,and explores the feasible path to cultivate critical thinking of primary school students in Chinese teaching.At the early stage of the study,the author sorted out the characteristics of problem-based learning mode,the core elements of critical thinking and evaluation criteria through literature reading,and then summarized the path to combine problem-based learning mode with critical thinking training in classroom teaching.Secondly,the current situation of critical thinking of experimental primary school students was investigated,the overall situation of critical thinking of current students and the differences of critical thinking among students of different grades were obtained,which laid a foundation for later research.Two Chinese classes of grade 5 in this school were selected to conduct a one-semester experimental study.One class was an experimental class to carry out pbl-based critical thinking training teaching.Another class for the control class,the traditional Chinese teaching.In the early stage,the students' critical thinking was investigated,and researchers conducted interviews with teachers and students.In the process of teaching,a study sheet was designed to give guidance to students,and in-depth classroom observation was made to continuously improve the teaching model;Finally,the research conclusions are obtained by analyzing the students' critical thinking questionnaires and teaching videos,and the teaching improvement suggestions are obtained through the analysis of student study sheets and teacher-student interviews.After a semester of research,this study reached the following conclusions:(1)Problem-based learning model can significantly improve students' critical thinking;(2)Compared with the traditional learning model,the Problem-based Learning model has no significant improvement on Chinese performance;(3)Students' critical thinking is positively correlated with their motivation;(4)Students' critical thinking is positively correlated with their metacognitive consciousness.
