With the continuous development of national education,people pay more attention to secondary vocational education and its quality.What is the quality of secondary vocational education?How to improve it?The quality of secondary vocational education depends on the degree of secondary vocational students'engagement.By studying secondary vocational students' engagement,people can know the degree of secondary vocational students' engagement and the quality of secondary vocational education,and point out the methods to improve the quality of secondary vocational education.Therefore,The studies of secondary vocational students'engagement are very meaningful.However,there are few studies on secondary vocational students' engagement,and even fewer studies on the secondary vocational students' engagement of the course in the studies of students' engagement at home and abroad.The study on secondary vocational students' engagement of "computer application foundation" can effectively collect the learning information of the course,provide operable ideas and methods to improve the teaching quality of this course,and enrich the case library of secondary vocational students' engagement.This study adopts the methods of literature research,interview,questionnaire and statistical analysis to study the students' engagement of 536 students in H county vocational education center.The study aims to explore the dimensions of students'engagement in "computer application foundation",factors affecting students'engagement in"computer application foundation",and to put forward suggestions to improve the level of students' engagement in this course.The research results and suggestions are as follows.Firstly,the evaluation system of secondary vocational students' engagement in"computer application foundation" is composed of evaluation indexes and influencing factors of students' engagement.The evaluation indexes of students' engagement are concentration,deep learning strategy and positive emotion.The influencing factors are learning motivation,self-efficacy and learning environment.Secondly,The level of students' engagement in the course is above average.There was no significant difference in the variables of total engagement,deep learning strategy and positive emotion in gender,grade,major and source of students.There and positive emotion in gender,grade,major and source of students.There were significant differences on the concentration of students in different grades and on the concentration of students from different places of origin.Thirdly,secondary vocational students scored above average in learning motivation,self-efficacy and learning environment.There is a significant positive correlation between learning motivation,self-efficacy,learning environment and students' engagement.The multivariate regression analysis of the three factors shows that the multivariate regression model has a good fitting effect,and the variation of 79.8%of students' engagement can be explained by the variation of the three independent variables of learning motivation,self-efficacy and learning environment.In addition,the factors affecting students' engagement are ranked from the most important to the least important:learning motivation,self-efficacy and learning environment.The regression equation was established:Y=5.561+1.638X1+1.190 X2+0.723X3,X1 represents learning motivation,X2 represents self-efficacy,X3 represents learning environment,and Y represents learning input as the dependent variable.There are some suggestions of improving the teaching quality of this course:the first is to stimulate students' learning motivation;The second is to cultivate students'self-efficacy;The third is to create a good learning environment.
