The goal of the high school math curriculum is that everyone can get a good math education,and different people can get different development in math.This curriculum reform pays more attention to the improvement of students' core literacy of mathematics.The core literacy of mathematics subjects includes mathematical ion,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operations and data analysis.Solid geometry is a compulsory part of high school mathematics.It is a course which is based on the plane geometry in the compulsory education stage to further study the relationship among points,lines and surfaces.The study of solid geometry is helpful for students to improve their mathematical literacy in visual imagination,logical reasoning and mathematical ion.Students learn knowledge in class,and the class includes regular class,self-study class,discussion class and so on.This paper studies the students' difficulties in learning the preliminary contents of solid geometry in regular class,self-study class,and discussion class.Analyze the mathematics class from the students,teacher,and school aspects.To solve students' difficulties in learning solid geometry,effective methods are found through observation,interview,questionnaire and experiment.Through the research,the author finds that the main reasons for students' difficulties in learning solid geometry are as follows.Students did not develop a good habit of learning mathematics.The concepts,axioms and theorems are not well understood.Students cannot convert flexibly among symbolic language,natural language and graphic language.Students' way of thinking and writing to solve problems is not standard.Difficult problems involving basic knowledge cannot be solved in time.It is difficult for students to grasp the meaning of some questions with more attributive words.To solve these difficulties,fundamentally we need to let students learn to learn,and teachers and students cooperate with each other.Mathematics regular class has always been the focus of people's attention,but self-study class also takes an important part.Schools can create conditions to guide students to recognize the value of learning,such as career planning courses.Students' questions arising from regular class and self-study class need to be solved in time,but teachers' time is so limited.Therefore,the school can give students time to communicate and discuss.As Confucius said," out of three men,there must be one that can teach me".Communication between students is equal,bold,and easy to understand.They can solve some problems involving basic knowledge.It is good for students to improve their confidence in learning mathematics,which improves the students' learning effect in class.So we can improve the students' core literacy of mathematics and help students learn to learn and love learning in this way.
