With the reform and opening up in China has been promoted smoothly,China's overall national strength now enjoys considerable increase,its economy and society have continued to develop,and China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.We should fully implement the Party's education policy,"foster virtue through education,enhance our students' well-rounded development,promote fairness in education,and nurture a new generation of capable young people who have a good and all-round moral,intellectual,physical,and esthetical grounding and are well-prepared to join the socialist cause",which are the requirements for education in the new era.The Ministry of Education issued the 2017 Standards for the Ideological and Political Curriculum of Ordinary High Schools,in which it proposes to cultivate students' core academic qualities and build a comprehensive activity-based classroom.This means that in the process of implementing the ideological and political curriculum in high school,teachers must shift their teaching concepts and teaching methods,make great effort to mobilize students' enthusiasm,and achieve the teaching goal of fostering key qualities.Based on the thesis writer's teaching experience,the author of this thesis selected lesson six("China's Basic Political System")of the second unit("The People as Masters")of the textbook "Politics and the Rule of Law" which is the 2019 textbook for senior high school students as the research subject.This teaching design,which is set against the background of the new curriculum standard in 2017,put its main emphasis on the specific process of the teaching design.It attempts to explore an effective teaching path to cultivate students'key qualities by reflecting on the teaching implementation process.To be more specific,the content of this thesis is composed of the following three aspects:The first part highlights on describing the fundamental roots of this teaching design which is entitled as "the system of community-level self-governance".This teaching design is based on the thesis writer's understanding on the general meaning of the teaching design of ideological and political courses in senior high schools.This part focuses on analyzing the new curriculum standards in 2017 for the new concepts of teaching design and the key quality requirements of the disciplines.At the same time,in combination with the thesis writer's own teaching experience in ideological and political education,this thesis will also draw on the advanced teaching concepts and methods of teachers from other schools or the advanced network course resources to lay a theoretical foundation for the specific implementation of this teaching design.The second part mainly analyzes the main content of this teaching design which entitled "the system of community-level self-governance".The selection of the teaching goal of this subject was based on the in-depth interpretation of the new curriculum standard in 2017 and the new textbook for 2019 from grade 7 to senior high school.Besides,the author also carried out a detailed analysis of the special academic situation of local students in Wuhan under the coivd-19.The teaching methods is determined by the main contents of this teaching design.Then,it will focus on the design of the specific teaching links of the "the system of community-level self-governance".It will also create a situation and conduct a series of in-depth teaching activities with the theme of"evaluating the behavior of community workers in the Wuhan Epidemic".The main goal of this design is to touch students and achieve a guidance in value,to encourage students to experience and to understand the significance of the system of community-level self-governance in real and specific situations.The design also intends to improve students' enthusiasm for participating in grass-roots democratic practice,and to improve their ability in analyzing and solving problems.The third part is a reflection on the implementation of the teaching design of the"the system of community-level self-governance".In this part,the thesis writer will analyze the advantages of and the existing problems in this teaching design.It will make some improvement on the teaching design.The main advantage of this teaching design is that it adheres to new curriculum standard education concept,which is student-centered.This teaching design creates a real situation based on the students' specific academic situation,which helps to arouse emotional resonance among students,and helps to improve student participation in the class.The adoption of the topic-based teaching method advocated by the new curriculum standard can guide students to think about and even analyze the existing social problems,in this way students' effective thinking ability is effectively exercised,and students' key qualities is cultivated.In addition,there are some shortcomings in teaching design.As to setting of activities,inaccuracy is inevitable;the time schedule is not scientific enough;the pace of teaching is loose at fist and tight at later half;the setting of problems is inaccurate;some of the problems are way too difficult;the settings are too intensive so they may go beyond the scope of students'ability and affect students' learning efficiency;the choice of material is not accurate,which attrite to the appearance of negative information before and during the class.Some students are even prone to one-sided thinking,which requires teachers to spend some time to lead them on thinking.In this article,the thesis writer will also make some reflections on how to makes some improvements.It believes that this teaching design can be improved by carefully designing the problem clues,condensing the content and directions of the questions;improving the teacher's ability to guide the classroom;focusing on the details of teaching activities,and the selection of more valuable materials.
