With the development of technology and the demand of society for different talents,technology explosion,knowledge explosion,the rise of marginal disciplines,the high degree of cross-discipline,interdisciplinary talent training mode is emerging.The requirements on the vocational and technical ability and cross-disciplinary ability of talents have been significantly improved.Under this background,maker education develops gradually.At present,open source hardware has become an important part of maker education courses.The maker course is based on open source hardwareIt is a maker course in great demand in primary and secondary schools.Through literature research,investigation and research,this paper tries to understand the current development of maker education.The research results show that the lack of maker curriculum resources and the great demand of maker teachers for open source hardware courses are important problems facing maker education at present.Based on this,this paper analyzes and studies the development of maker education course in our school,and develops a school-based course of maker education in middle school based on Arduino.This course is aimed at students who are beginning to learn makers.Based on the actual situation of the school,the school has designed and developed an open source hardware school-based course applicable to the school.This paper mainly includes the following parts:Firstly,the author studies the significance of maker education and analyzes the present situation of the school-based curriculum of maker education.Based on the analysis of the basic theory and related technology,this course is designed.Secondly,based on a comprehensive analysis of the needs and teaching objectives of the maker course,the teaching strategy of the maker course is selected,and the basic framework and course evaluation method of the course are designed.At last,I designed the teaching of the three modules of basic learning,ability improvement and comprehensive design of this course,including the detailed introduction of specific teaching contents such as maker preparation,understanding Arduino Uno,little night light,universal display screen,welcome robot and creation at your heart.Through in-depth analysis of students' works,students' questionnaire survey results and teachers' reflections on the course,the effect of the course was analyzed in detail.
