The history of Chinese school music education is an important part of the history of music education,which has its unique value.This paper studies the situation of school music education in Handan.Hebei Province in the 20th century from three aspects by using the methods of literature research,historical research and field investigation.The introduction part deseribes the significance,status and methods of this study.The first chapter introduces the history of music education in Handan in the first half of the 20th century.The first hall of the 20th century is divided into two periods.One is the period from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China(1901-1919).This is the embryonic period of school music education.There are music lessons in the laws and regulations formulated by the state.Handan also started to set up new schools and normal schools.Second,after the May 4th Movement(19 1 9-1 949),the state formulated a series of curriculum outlines.During the Anti Japanese War.there were three different regimes in Handan,different regimes,and different educational policies and modes.The second chapter is about the music education in Handan school from the beginning of new China to the "Cultural Revolution".This chapter is about the tortuous development period and stagnation period of the music education in Handan school.In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China.music education in Handan was reformed according to the policy,focusing on aesthetic education;during the "Cultural Revolution",although the teaching order in Handan was chaotic,music extracurricular activities were greatly developed,and many music lovers became music education workers in the future.The third chapter,the new era of Handan school music education,the country's series of policies to make the school music education into a prosperous period.Handan attaches great importance to the education of "aesthetic education" and vigorously supports the cause of music education.The three historical periods mainly focus on the education laws and regulations.scliool running situatioin,music curriculum,music teachers and training,music teaching materials,extracurricular activities and other aspects of music in Handan school,and make a comparative study of some issues in each period,from which we can summarize better school running experience;The conclusion of this paper is that the music education of Handan school is the starting point,and the music education of preschool education,primary and secondary school and normal school are studied.The conclusion is as follows:1.The music education of all levels of schools in Handan area is carried out,adjusted and implemented on the basis of the education regulations and syllabus issued by the Ministry of education,according to the relevant documents of Hebei Province and the local actual situation;2.Handan music teacher training work is speeding up,so that the overall quality of music teachers is generally improved;3.pay attention to strengthen the aesthetic function of music;4,strengthen the coherence of music education.
