Narrative is the most frequently occurring style in primary and secondary school textbooks.Teachers use these texts to improve students' narrative reading skills.But for some reason,it has caused the problem of poor connection of narrative and reading teaching in primary and secondary schools.The author studied the connection of narrative reading teaching in primary and secondary schools with different methods,such as questionnaires,comparative research,case analysis methods and so on.After doing the research,the author found some main causes of the poor connection.Firstly,teachers lack the systematic concept of narrative reading teaching.Secondly,lack of scientific teaching objectives.Thirdly,lack of systematic teaching content.Lastly,lack of coherent teaching methods.In response to the above situation,The author puts forward the convergence strategy from the three perspectives of teaching objectives,teaching content and teaching methods.firstly,the primary school goal is to transition to the "theme",and the secondary school goal is "one for each";Secondly,analyze the textbooks against the curriculum standard,and design the teaching objectives of narrative reading;Thirdly,open up small and medium-sized textbook barriers and use narrative texts;Fourthly,open the block of textbooks and flexibly arrange the teaching sequence of narratives;Fifthly,reasonably introduce extracurricular articles and expand narrative reading;Sixthly,adjust the narrative reading classroom teaching methods,and realize the transformation from simple to deep;Seventhly,increase the amount of extracurricular reading and change the reading way,promote the improvement of students' narrative reading speed;Lastly,cultivate students' study habits to promote the connection of narrative reading teaching in primary and secondary schools.
