In recent years,the importance of national quality education has provided an important platform for the development of public sports in Colleges and universities.Universities have begun to carry out effective promotion of the concept of "lifelong sports" in the teaching of specific public sports courses,in order to help college students clarify the important value of lifelong sports and stimulate enthusiasm for participation,which is also an important direction of the reform of physical education in many colleges and universities.At the same time,as the completion stage of school physical education,college physical education will lay an important foundation for students to participate in social sports,and promote the effective transition from the goal of comprehensive quality improvement of talents to participation in the national fitness program.College students shoulder the important mission of realizing "the dream of a powerful country" and "the dream of China",and are also the main driving force for the development of all sectors of society.Their health status is related to the prosperity of the country,the revitalization of the nation and the development prospects of socialist modernization.College public physical education curriculum is the highest level of physical education accepted by individuals at the student stage,and it is also the ultimate link of physical education that college students can contact before they enter society.In this period,the physical and mental development of students are relatively mature,so they can accept some difficult physical exercise,which has become the key period to cultivate the concept of lifelong physical education for college students.The essential purpose of education is not to teach,that is,through the constant infiltration of certain teaching methods,teaching concepts and so on,to enable students to understand the core meaning of education,so that they can form the motivation and habit of continuing learning invisibly,and realize the continuous development of individual self.Publicphysical education curriculum should learn from this idea effectively,innovate the new development mode of physical education in Colleges and universities,stimulate the enthusiasm of college students to participate in lifelong physical education and lifelong exercise,and promote the long-term development of national lifelong physical education.This is also the development subject that the public physical education in Colleges and universities must face up to,and has important research value.Therefore,physical education in Colleges and universities must attach importance to college students' physical education.However,exploring effective ways to deepen teaching reform,promote lifelong physical education development,and help students master sports skills and cultivate scientific lifelong physical exercise habits while strengthening the concept of lifelong physical education have always been the difficult problems in the development of physical education in Colleges and universities.Based on the development perspective of lifelong sports,this paper adopts many research methods,such as data access,questionnaire survey,dialogue and interview.Firstly,it systematically combs the development status of lifelong sports at home and abroad,and explains the basic connotation of lifelong sports,and clarifies its basic relationship with lifelong education,College Physical Education and College Physical Education curriculum,in order to lay the paper.The theoretical basis of the study;secondly,the research objects and methods of the paper are introduced in detail,and the investigation and analysis are made from the aspects of College Students' cognition of public physical education curriculum,the teaching situation of public physical education curriculum,the management of physical education teachers and teaching conditions.It is found that the main existing physical education teaching objectives of public physical education curriculum in Colleges and universities at this stage have not yet been fully achieved.Real life-long physical education thought;the lag of physical education teaching affects the formation of interest in physical education and lifelong physical education;unreasonable curriculum setting,lack of pertinence in teaching and related theoretical guidance;lack of scientific teaching evaluation,highlighting theinadequate status of students as the main body.Finally,aiming at the main problems existing in the teaching of public physical education courses in Colleges and universities in Xi'an,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: strengthening the awareness of lifelong physical education and renewing the teaching concept of physical education;optimizing the teaching content of physical education and rationalizing the increase of new sports items;perfecting the curriculum of public physical education and choosing self-compiled teaching materials;optimizing the teaching assessment and evaluation methods,and establishing a pluralistic teaching evaluation system.Promote the reform of physical education in Colleges and universities,comprehensively implement the development goal of "health first,lifelong sports",and promote the effective development of lifelong sports.
