As a Yemeni student who has studied and researched in China for many years,I deeply feel that the problem of cross-cultural adaptation is an important factor affecting learning and life,and has very important research value.Through surveys and interviews,statistics and analysis are made on Yemeni international students' life adaptation,communication adaptation,learning adaptation,and psychological adaptation.The aim is to point out the problems in various aspects of cross-cultural adaptation and to propose corresponding Suggestions.We found that Yemen's international students have problems in adapting to life,such as clothing,diet,accommodation,and travel,as well as problems with interaction with Chinese people,teachers,and classmates,and psychological adaptations such as cultural conflict and homesickness.In addition,we believe that there is a certain difference between language students and academic degree students in learning adaptation.Based on the analysis of the problems of Yemeni international students' cross-cultural adaptation,we put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for schools and students to improve Yemeni international students' cross-cultural adaptation ability in China.We believe that the school should establish a professional Yemeni international student cross-cultural management team to conduct targeted management,and use international student associations to help newcomers achieve cross-cultural adaptation in life.Promote Yemeni students and Chinese students through activities such as the "International Cultural Festival" The in-depth understanding of each other helps Yemeni international students to improve their adaptability in interpersonal communication;to improve their learning adaptability through measures such as improving the Chinese language level,adjusting teaching methods,and improving teaching methods;through the psychological health counseling of teachers with professional knowledge,actively conducting psychological progress Channeling and improving psychological adaptation.At the same time,we believe that Yemeni international students must also have an open mind,a positive mindset,and an inclusive and inclusive mindset.Only in this way can we communicatewith the Chinese with a positive and friendly mindset and improve their cross-cultural adaptability.
