A Study On The Cross-cultural Adaptability Of International Students In Heilongjiang

As a foreign student studying and studying in China for many years,I deeply feel that cross-cultural adaptation is an important factor affecting study,life,communication and so on.Therefore,by means of Investigation and Research,I have made statistics and analysis on the life adaptation,communication adaptation,learning adaptation,language adaptation and social and cultural adaptation of the overseas students in Heilongjiang,the aim of this paper is to point out the problems in cross-cultural adaptation and put forward some corresponding suggestions.Through investigation and research,we found that the cross-cultural adaptation of Heilongjiang students has the adaptation problems of language,diet,accommodation,travel and other aspects of life,there are also adaptation problems in communication with Chinese people,teachers and classmates,as well as adaptation problems in cultural conflicts and homesickness.At the same time,there are some differences in learning adaptation between language students and academic students.Therefore,this article believes that international students should make psychological preparation before coming to China and learn more about the local cultural characteristics.Establish an open and inclusive cultural mentality,cultivate their own character,improve the language level as soon as possible,integrate into the local campus life,improve their cross-cultural adaptability.At the same time,Heilongjiang universities should actively explore,optimize the management system and level,provide support for overseas students and help them adapt to the life of overseas students as soon as possible.The questionnaire of this paper mainly includes the basic situation,the language adaptation,the learning adaptation,the interpersonal adaptation,the living environment adaptation and the sociocultural adaptation of the overseas students in Heilongjiang universities,on this basis,the author makes statistics and analysis,and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions,hoping to help the overseas students in Heilongjiang universities improve their cross-cultural adaptability to a certain extent.
