An Investigation On The Cross-cultural Adaptability Of Central Asian Students In Shaanxi

With the proposal and development of the " One Belt and One Road " initiative,Shaanxi,the place with profound historical and cultural deposits,has increasingly deepened exchanges and communications with countries along the initiative.In recent years,many central Asian students have come to Shaanxi for further studies in colleges & universities.Shaanxi,as the "host" of the popular destination for overseas study,shoulders the important task of providing services and management for the central Asian students in Shaanxi.In addition,Shaanxi's colleges& universities have been providing high-quality learning environment and living conditions,which are conducive to providing experiences and references for the management of overseas students in other domestic colleges & universities,as well as helping the Shaanxi provincial and municipal government departments including those of colleges and universities establish a positive image nationwide and even globally.To take up such an important mission,the above-mentioned Shaanxi provincial government departments must correctly understand Shaanxi's central Asian international students in the process of cross-cultural adaptation problems and difficulties,actively take the initiative to help the cause analysis,strive to provide solutions and measures,and make it faster and better adapt to the local learning life.It's particularly important for us to reduce the difficulties of the cross-cultural adaptation.This article focuses on Xi 'an International Studies University,Northwestern University,Shaanxi Normal University and the central Asia institute set up all the(institute)of the very representative of colleges and universities as the goal,for its central Asian students study in school,in the form of the combination of questionnaire and depth interview to,through the analysis found that the students basic information,such as gender,age,nationality,the study time,know about China,Chinese language level,such as the cross cultural adaptation effect,and its common purpose andmotivation in study,learning adaptation,psychological adaptation,easy to adapt to the social environment and so on has many problems,For example,some students have weak motivation to study abroad,poor learning adaptability,uneven psychological adaptability,and especially complex social environment adaptability.Based on the study motivation and purpose,to study adaptation,psychological and social environment adapt to four aspects,and then discusses the connection between them,the study purpose and motivation can be found in these students in learning adaptation,positive correlation to the psychological and social environment adapt to,learn to adapt to adapt and psychological and social environment to have conclusion,such as the positive correlation,in other words,has the strong purpose and motivation of students to study abroad,in learning adaptation,psychological adaptation,it will be easier to some social environmental adaptation,part of the conclusion above,for our more accurate grasp in shan central Asian students cross-cultural have important help to adapt to the situation,At the same time,it is also a valuable information resource for shaanxi government and universities in the education and management of foreign students.
