Abstract/Summary:
Under the background of the big data era, data literacy has become the basic requirement of people in the society, and the mathematics curriculum standard of ordinary high schools has clearly taken data analysis as one of the six core literacy, and has explained the specific connotation of data analysis.Understanding the current situation of data analysis literacy of junior high school students in urban and rural areas of Hunan province, comparing and analyzing the main factors that affect the differences in data analysis literacy of junior high school students in urban and rural areas of Hunan province can effectively improve the teaching of junior high school teachers, lay a foundation for senior high school teachers to formulate training plans for data analysis literacy, and thus better promote the development of citizen data analysis literacy. This paper uses comparative research to compare and analyze the current situation of data analysis literacy, and to compare and analyze the factors that affect the differences in data analysis literacy of junior high school students in urban and rural areas of Hunan Province.Through consulting the relevant discussions on junior high school students' data analysis literacy at home and abroad, the author wrote the topic of the data analysis literacy part of the student survey questionnaire from the four dimensions, and used Richter Five Scale to score the students emotional attitudes and values. The SOLO classification classifies the students' data awareness, problem solving and mathematical thinking.Through consulting the articles that affect junior high school students' data analysis literacy and other mathematics learning levels.By reviewing the articles that influence students' data analysis literacy and other factors of mathematical learning ability, the author considers three major factors that affect dataanalysis literacy, and obtains students' basic situation, family education background information by writing the topic of personal information in the student survey questionnaire.By using the data literacy ability survey from compiled by Li Qing and Zhao Huanhuan to obtain the information of the current situation of teacher data literacy, and using SPSS software to analyze the factors that affect the data analysis literacy of urban and rural junior high school students in Hunan Province. The results of this study show that the overall level of data analysis literacy of junior high school students in Hunan Province needs to be improved.Among them, the five abilities of querying data sources, eliminating erroneous or invalid data, designing questionnaires, understanding randomness and representativeness of samples, and reading beyond data itself are relatively deficient.Urban junior high school students are better than rural junior high school students in eliminating erroneous or invalid data, sorting and describing data, and recognizing " basic possibilities".The four dimensions of data analysis literacy are analyzed from three influential factors.Among them, there are significant differences in students' attitudes towards data, understanding of data, pressure on mathematics learning, differences in mathematics learning level and emotional attitudes and values. In the factors of family education background, the influence of mother's cultural level on emotional attitude values, data awareness and problem solving is greater than that of father, and the influence of father's professional difference on emotional attitude values and mathematical thinking is greater than that of mother. Finally, according to the research results of this study, some teaching suggestions are put forward for how to improve the data analysis literacy of students.
