In recent years,the "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards"(2017)has proposed "evidence reasoning" core literacy in chemistry,emphasizing the cultivation of students 'awareness of evidence and enhancing students' ability to reason with theory.To improve students' reasoning and demonstration ability,it is necessary to investigate and understand students' actual chemical reasoning and demonstration ability.Therefore,this study evaluates the current status of high school students' ability to demonstrate the ability of chemistry,and the main research work is as follows:1.Construct the evaluation framework of senior high school students' chemical reasoning and demonstration ability.Firstly,the author defines the concepts related to high school students' chemical reasoning and demonstration ability through reading a large number of documents and materials,and builds a chemical reasoning and demonstration ability model from three dimensions of content,structure and cognition by referring to relevant theories and methods of reasoning and demonstration ability evaluation at home and abroad.Secondly,the author consulted front-line teachers and summarized the results of expert review,and constructed the evaluation framework of high school students' chemicalreasoning and demonstration ability.2.Develop testing tools according to the evaluation framework.Firstly,the evaluation index of senior high school students' chemical reasoning demonstration ability is obtained by combining the core literacy level division table of chemical evidence reasoning,which is used as the evaluation standard for examination questions analysis.Secondly,according to the evaluation framework of senior high school students' chemical reasoning and demonstration ability,test questions are designed,and through two pre-investigations to improve and optimize the test questions,the senior high school students' chemical reasoning and demonstration ability test questions are finally obtained.3.Analysis of the current situation of senior high school students' ability of chemical reasoning and demonstration.In this study,paper and pencil tests were used to distribute test papers to 6 schools in 4 cities of Hunan Province,and questionnaires were collected,sorted out and data were analyzed.The results showed that the overall level of senior high school students' chemical reasoning ability and the content,grade,school and gender differences of senior high school students' chemical reasoning ability were as follows:(1)Senior high school students' reasonable reasoning ability was between level 1 and level 2,and senior high school students' deductive reasoning ability was at level 1;(2)In addition to gender differences,content,grade and school differences have an impacton the development of high school students' ability of chemical reasoning and argumentation.4.Combining the analysis of the status and reasons of chemistry reasoning ability of high school students,and providing reference suggestions for the development and practice of scientific researchers and educators in the research and practical teaching of chemistry reasoning ability.
