In order to improve the efficiency and interest of the new HSK vocabulary teaching,this paper discusses the value of word group teaching on the basis of word group classification.Word group classification is the basis of word group teaching.On the basis of the existing research on the teaching of word groups,this paper classifies the new HSK5000 vocabulary from morpheme,grammar,pronunciation,morphology,semantics,pragmatics and culture.Especially for the Chinese teaching in Thailand,it adds the perspective of Chinese and Thai words and culture contrast,and classifies word groups.Through statistical data and analysis and comparison,this paper explores the teaching value of word groups from the aspects of teaching philosophy,teaching methods and teaching skills.Especially for middle school students in Thailand,how to carry out the operation practice.Different from the overseas students in China,Thai middle school students have a common mother tongue and cultural background,mainly female students,strong motivation for Chinese test and entrance examination,and significant learning characteristics.The purpose of the new HSK vocabulary group teaching is to explore the teaching value of vocabulary group classification by explaining,practicing,discriminating and expanding vocabulary according to students' cognitive style,learning motivation and attitude.The teaching value of word groups is mainly reflected in the following aspects:focusing on the key points,solving the difficulties,increasing interest,reasonable basis,strong correlation,helping memory,being able to use,improving efficiency and producing results.Using morpheme frequency to guide teaching and establish teaching focus;carrying out semantic analysis from the perspective of part of speech to increase the motivation of meaning from the perspective of structure;attaching importance to homophone and near sound as one of the difficulties in teaching;Using the form and meaning relationship of vocabulary to organize teaching;strengthening the relevance of teaching and learning based on semantic network;cultivating the sense of language and improving the ability of using vocabulary from the pragmatic point of view;cultural word groups,taking into account vocabulary and culturalteaching,connecting ancient and modern,preaching and solving puzzles,and enhancing students' interest in learning;comparing China and Thailand,according to the teaching stage,processing in different levels,promoting positive transfer and avoiding negative transfer.In the teaching operation,monosyllabic words stress the principle of combination of form,sound and meaning,while disyllabic words combine morpheme teaching,whole word teaching and chunk teaching.Make full use of pictures,rhythm,games and activities to present directly and vividly.The students' enthusiasm can be aroused by the ways of guiding questions and task-based teaching.By using memory rules,mind maps and cognitive networks,students can memorize vocabulary and organize the vocabulary networks in their minds.The new HSK word group teaching can make the new words more scientific,more comprehensive,more diversified,more clear discrimination,more reasonable expansion,more efficient memory and more obvious effect.
