The inheritance and development of national culture is an inexhaustible driving force for the progress and prosperity of a national civilization;it is the embodiment of "cultural understanding" in the core literacy of fine arts;it is a goal that must be taken seriously in art teaching.The research of this topic hopes that through the costume pattern design course,students can present the aesthetic power of the Chinese national culture and national art culture with their own eyes,and evoke people's emotional resonance to the national culture.We should make great use of the resources around us to develop creation of beauty.The research of this subject is carried out in combination with the "useful design practice" in the basic pattern of clothing;using the basic pattern design course--?The walking Tibetan elements---two-sides pattern design application?which was implemented in the clothing class of the second secondary vocational technical school in Lhasa to test the effectiveness of students' applied research on the "Tibetan elements" of ethnic culture inheritance and development.The focus is mainly on the analysis of pre-class academic situation,the setting of difficult points,the teaching process,and the exploration of the teaching goals in each link of the teaching,especially the effective achievement of the two core literacy goals of creative practice and cultural understanding.And through the practical application of this subject,the necessity,feasibility and value of Tibetan elements in the vocational clothing design teaching are exploredThrough the study of this subject,Tibetan art,as one of the components of the Chinese national art,is a nation that attaches great importance to blessings.From the rise of natural worship to the popularization of Buddhist culture,it reflects the aspirations of people who expect life to be auspicious.The performance of the pattern has the characteristics of regionality,history,and humanity.This article takes the application of Tibetan elements in the design of clothing patterns as the starting point,combines the current research on teaching,and uses the Tibetan patterns as the basis to explain the meaning and composition of the patterns and guide the students' consciousness in the classroom.Guide students to actively explore local resources,learn from Tibetan patterns based on self-realization,and through deformation combination of Tibetan patterns and expansion of Tibetan pattern resources : thinking expansion,collision,conversion,and fusion,to achieve a divergence with breadth and depth from the pattern to Tibetan elements.In this way,we seek methods to inherit and develop Tibetan national art.This article is divided into four parts,the first part: the main reason and purpose of the selected topic,the research status,research methods and problems to be solved,the effects of this research,and the main content of this research.The second part: the teaching design of secondary vocational art costume design class <<The Walking Tibetan Elements---Two-Sides Pattern Design Application>>.It analyzes the teaching materials and understands the cognitive ability of Tibetan students and analysis of student situation through questionnaire survey before class.Based on this,starting from students 'image reading,aesthetic judgment,art performance,creative practice,and cultural understanding,formulate teaching goals which is suitable for them;design classroom teaching links based on teaching goals,start with question-based introduction,and use students' curiosity expands the class,and introduces its classification,and explains deformation,combination and the patterned design of Tibetan elements,so as to achieve the purpose of applying Tibetan elements to pattern design in the course of student clothing pattern design.Then it reached the inheritance and development of Tibetan national art.After the class,the students' learning effects and homework effects are tested and analyzed,and finally the test results are reflected on teaching.Through the study of this topic,the students majoring in clothing design in Lhasa No.2 Secondary Vocational Technical School are encouraged to increase their awareness of actively using Tibetan resources;develop the ability to use Tibetan elements to design patterns in the course of clothing design;and master the method of it;and then to inspire students to inherit,apply and expand Tibetan elements.
