With the new curriculum reform continues to deepen,situational teaching method is now increasingly favored by high school history teachers and widely employed in history classroom teaching.According to the theory of situational teaching,the historical situational teaching method is based on the historical teaching materials,the cognitive characteristics of students,and the characteristics of history subjects,and through the application of this teaching method,teachers can employ a variety of means to purposefully introduce or create specific historical scenario or activities,which helps attract the students' positive and healthy historical emotional experience,and further cultivate their patriotic feelings,understanding and mastery of historical knowledge.Different from the traditional teaching methods,the situational teaching method aims to create an enjoyable and educational teaching atmosphere,and make the history classroom teaching interesting and natural lifelike,thus yield good results.However,the investigation of relevant literature and educational practices reveals that there still exist problems in the practical application of situational teaching method in the senior history teaching.Therefore,how to improve the historical situational teaching,cultivate and stimulate students' learning motivation,and enhance the teaching effectiveness is the current issue in the greatest need of solution for senior high school history teachers,which has also become the research origin of this paper.In this case,in order to solve the problems existing in the practical application of situational teaching method in high school history teaching,the author first introduces the symbiosis theory into the field of pedagogy for discipline integration research,then combines the symbiosis theory with situational teaching method in senior history teaching,and next innovates and defines a series of essential concepts from the perspective of “symbiosis”,finally analyzes the theoretical relevance and practical feasibility of the symbiosis theory applied in situational teaching method in senior history teaching.Besides,this paper is designed to explore the principles that must be observed in the application of the symbiosis theory in historical situational teaching from the four symbiotic relationships: symbiosis of teacher-student,student-student,symbiosis inside and outside the classroom,and knowledge and skills symbiosis.What's more,it's also aimed at investigating the interaction and close relationships between teachers and students,students and students,teachers and students and teaching content in the historical situational teaching,which further helps reveal the internal symbiotic law,help teachers and students out of the historical dilemma,promote the development of students' learning initiative and improve teachers' situational teaching ability,build a harmonious symbiotic history classroom,and expand new theoretical horizons and approaches for the current historical situational teaching research.Through the questionnaire survey of high school history teachers and students,as well as personal interviews with some senior students and history teachers,the author has come to know about the practical application of the historical situational teaching method in the history classroom teaching,and find out that there still exist the defects in the design of historical situational teaching,and the lack of situational teaching ability and learning ability of some teachers.The symbiosis theory advocates coordination,dependence,linkage and coexistence among subjects,and achieves common survival,life and development in cooperation.With support from the concept of symbiosis and related theories of biology,and guided by the naturalistic philosophy of symbiosis,this paper analyzes the causes of problems in the application of situational teaching method in senior high school history teaching,and finds out that there are symbiotic obstacles in such factors as historical situational teaching resources,historical situational teaching method,the construction of teaching staff,and interdisciplinary integration,which can exert an influence on classroom teaching effect.Finally,in view of existing problems,this paper puts forward three strategies: the first one is to attach great importance to the symbiosis design of situational teaching and grasp the teaching path of history class.The second is to cultivate the symbiosis ability of both teachers and students and build an efficient history situational teaching class.The last one is to grasp the symbiosis characteristics of different subjects,and create a continuous history situational teaching to reconstruct the application of situational teaching in high school history teaching,update the educational teaching concept,change the traditional pattern of situational teaching,optimize the innovative teaching methods and promote the interaction and coexistence between teachers and students,students and students,teachers and students and teaching contents of symbiotic interaction,so as to realize the symbiosis realm of “make the best possible use of men and material,realize harmony in diversity,and achieve beauty in commonality” in history classroom teaching.
