Practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” is an experiential teaching theory which can guide and supervise education receivers to deepen their cognition of political theories,improve their ideological and political theoretical qualities and practical abilities,promote their shaping of a correct outlook on the world,life and values,and finally realize improvement of their comprehensive qualities,thus constituting an indispensable part of “Ideological and Political Theories”,but some institutions of higher learning in exploring the practice-oriented teaching reform of “Ideological and Political Theories”,are more or less found with the tendencies of “emphasizing on theories but ignoring practices;emphasizing on classroom teaching but ignoring after-class learning;emphasizing on forms but ignoring effects”,thus resulting in lack of compact combination between practice-oriented teaching and theoretical teaching.This is deviated from the requirements on essential attributes,teaching objectives,and teaching effects of “Ideological and Political Theories”,and fails to give full play to the due effect of practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories”.Considering that the traditional teaching model of “Ideological and Political Theories” can result in the separation of students' knowledge and faith,this paper holds that strengthening of the understanding of practice-oriented teaching and highlighting the orientation of practice-oriented teaching while advocating improvement of theoretical teaching is a fundamental approach to make the teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” more targeted,and realize the teaching objective of the course.On the basis of expounding theories related to practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories”,this paper takes the practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” in H College for a case study,and reflects on shortages and omissions of“Ideological and Political Theories” in practice-oriented teaching.On that basis,the countermeasures are proposed to address the existing problems and to improve the teaching effects.In this paper,it uses the methods of literature research,Inductive analysis,field trips,Interview method.On the basis of expounding theories related to practice-oriented teaching of“Ideological and Political Theories”,and by consulting materials,master the overall situationof practical teaching of ideological and political theory courses in domestic universities,this paper takes the practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” in H College for a case study.Based on the field survey,the author analyzes and studies the practice-oriented teaching status of “Ideological and Political Theories” in H College,and summarizes the effects and shortages of practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” in H College.On that basis,the countermeasures are proposed to address the existing problems and to improve the teaching effects.In terms of the effects,the percentage of practice-oriented teaching is increased,students' initiative to participate is motivated,standardization of practice-oriented teaching is promoted,and the practice-oriented teaching content is made realer.As to shortages,they are mainly reflected as an inadequate understanding of the importance of practice-oriented teaching,inaccurate grasp of the specialness of the curriculum content,scarcity of practice-oriented teaching grounds,lack of participation depth of teaching subjects,and restriction of practice-oriented teaching models to forms.The foothold for the whole research is to improve the existing problems of practical teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.According to the theoretical research of practice-oriented research of “Ideological and Political Theories”,and combined with the experience of practical teaching of ideological and political theory courses in many domestic universities,the author puts forward the following suggestions for shortages of practice-oriented teaching of “Ideological and Political Theories” in H College,including deepening the understanding of practice-oriented teaching,accurately rasping the teaching content,fully integrating the resources of practice-oriented teaching,actively guiding students' in-depth participation,and comprehensively expanding the practice-oriented teaching “Five-in-One” model.
