Education has always been considered as the most important investment no matter for a family and a nation.In recent years,as China has witnessed a rapid development in social economy,more and more well-off families are willing to send their children to study abroad in order to help their children widen their international horizon and have better access to quality education,thereby laying a good foundation for their future development.Consequently,the market demand for English training with a purpose of studying abroad is growing with each passing day.Located in Guangzhou,one of the core cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,Keda is a small and medium-sized English training organization for overseas study.Keda has already developed into a mature one since it was established eight years ago,and has both won widespread praise among the trainees and collected rich market experience.At present,Keda is entering a stage of rapid development,but the operational management strategy in the early stage has become outdated so that it can't match the increasingly expanded company scale,which has become one of the major factors restricting the company's development.Therefore,how to optimize the operational management strategy and tackle the existing issues to promote the company's long-term development has become an imperative issue for Keda.Taking Keda corporation as its research object,this essay will firstly introduce the background,significance,and method of the research,explain the theoretic basis for this research project,and show the literature review on the basis of reading rich materials.Then,this essay introduces the current operating situation of both the overall English training service industry and Keda corporation.In order to fully detect the problems,this essay adopt the method of classified study,conducts questionnaire survey among the trainees,holds interviews & discussions among teachers,teaching assistants and other clerks in the company.By taking advantage of the literature materials and operational management as well as related theory studied from courses during the MBA study,and on the basis of Keda's current situation,this essaymakes flow charts on Keda's current situation as well as fishbone diagrams on issues affecting its service quality,and tries to discover and make an analysis of the existing issues.After that,after taking the problems into consideration,the essay focuses on putting forward optimized strategies for the following two aspects: reconstructing the educational service process and improving quality.About the education service process,the essay aims to optimize it from two parts in order to make the process more clear and efficient.Firstly,in terms of consulting process,the essay proposes to add some specific content on the key parts,the specific methods and tools for core works,and some personalized teaching schemes,etc.Secondly,in terms of teaching and tutoring process,the essay proposes to provide more backup for teachers to make better preparation for the teaching and build a communication platform.Besides,the preview part is added,supervision for after-class study should be conducted,timely feedback is done,past exam paper is added in the training,assistance is added to help the trainees to adjust their mind before the exam,sharing session is added for trainees with high scores to share their good ideas,etc.About the education service quality,the essay proposes to optimize the following two aspects so that the company can achieve systematic improvements in the education service quality.Firstly,in terms of teaching and tutoring,this essay proposes to improve core abilities of the education service from many aspect:teaching ability,academic professional ability,research ability for teaching and tutoring,assistance for teaching ability,trainee service ability.Secondly,in terms of teaching faculty,this essay proposes to strengthen training for new teachers as well as the overall teaching faculty.In addition,this essay also puts forward guarantee policies for these optimizing policies from three perspectives: firstly,in terms of operating management platform,on the basis of informationization,three standardized management systems are established:evaluating and testing management,trainees management,and comprehensive assistance management.Secondly,in terms of organizational structure and responsibility,administrative department system is implemented,teaching guarantee department and client service center are added,and the specific responsibilities are clarified.Thirdly,in terms of operating management system,focusing on ensuring the quality the teaching organization,relevant systems are established.By combining theory and practice,this essay has made a systematic research and proposed strategies to optimize education service for Keda,hoping to offer a reference for the English training organizations for overseas study in such intense competition.
