Economic globalization,the rapid development of internationalization and marketization of higher education have made study abroad increasingly popular.Studying abroad is a major way of cross-border education.Due to the continuous expansion of cross-border flows,issues related to studying abroad have become a public topic of international concern.In China,more and more families want to enjoy higher-quality educational resources and meet the needs of personalized higher education,which has promoted the emergence of a new wave of studying abroad in China.The trend of studying abroad on the one hand promotes the prosperity of China's cross-border education and provides opportunities and challenges for the internationalization of China's education,on the other hand,it also increases the potential risks of overseas education.Studying abroad is a special way of cultural consumption.She has both investment and consumption attributes,and the consumption risks among them are easily overlooked,especially the safety risks of studying abroad.In recent years,frequent overseas study safety incidents have caused great repercussions in China,and there are not many literatures on the risk of studying abroad.Part of the research mainly introduces and analyzes the causes and countermeasures of studying abroad risks based on the risk events that have occurred,which involves safety risks,and there is still a lack of research specifically on studying abroad safety risks.This article mainly researches and analyzes the security risks in overseas education consumption behavior of foreign students.The research content is mainly divided into six parts.The first part elaborates the research background of the security risks of studying abroad,a review of domestic and foreign research,and explains the significance and significance of the topic selected;The second part is the conceptual and theoretical analysis,which demonstrates that there is a security risk in the special education consumption activity of studying abroad;The third part is based on the relevant literature,compiling a questionnaire on the safety risks of studying abroad,including a description of the questionnaire design,reliability and validity tests,and data statistics to explain the steps and purpose of this risk awareness survey analysis;The fourth part analyzes the results of the survey on the status quo of the risks of studying abroad.The study finds that the current level of students' awareness of the risks of studying abroad is insufficient.Combining the specific circumstances of the dimensions of political environment risks,public security risks,accident risks,and mental health risks,it was found that the ability to perceive risks needs to be improved,the degree of understanding and attention to risks is insufficient,and the ability to avoid risks needs to be strengthened;The fifth part analyzes the reasons for the safety risk of studying abroad based on the current situation survey results.Mainly include deviations in personal risk perception,insufficient safety education and training,and large differences in Chinese and foreign cultures;The sixth part proposes countermeasures for risk avoidance from the aspects of avoiding risk loss,controlling risk loss,risk transfer and risk retention.In order to enhance the public's safety awareness of studying abroad and the ability to avoid risks in studying abroad,and then promote relevant institutions to adjust their study abroad policies and strategies to ensure the smooth development of cross-border education in China.
