As a medium, mobile phones have experienced rapid development in China for more than two decades. As of June 2019,the total number of mobile phone users in China reached 847 million,of which the number of minor Internet users reached 169 million. The recent "Children's Blue Book: China Children's Development Report(2019)" pointed out that underage students generally have the problem of long leisure time in electronic games. The report shows that on non-school days, the average daily mobile phone usage time of minor students in rural areas is 108.18 minutes, and the average daily mobile phone usage time of urban minors is 88.40 minutes. The government and society have invested a lot of money in compulsory education for underage students, especially in rural areas. The state has launched a series of policies and measures to improve the medical, health and education levels of primary and secondary students in rural areas, hoping that rural primary and secondary students can learn more knowledge with skills to improve the economic conditions of their own families and even the entire rural area. However, contrary to this, the existence of a large number of these young students and the increasing dependence on mobile phones has severely negatively affected their academic and physical and mental health.China urgently needs but has not yet constructed a set of effective intervention measures for primary and middle school students, especially young students in rural areas, who rely on mobile phones. Many scholars have studied the phenomenon of mobile phone dependence, and discussed the causes, measurement, and its academic, social, and health effects. However, the research on mobile phone dependence intervention is insufficient, and it is still stuck in theoretical discussion. In addition, existing research on the issue is non-systematic research. In empirical analysis, there is no good combination of theory and empirical evidence. In the domestic related research, the results of the theory and practice indicate that mobile phone intervention needs to be coordinated by family, school, society, and government. Most of these studies discuss interventions at the policy level, and there are few studies on the effects of actual interventions. The intervention methods also present a variety of situations, which are more scattered and difficult to summarize into a framework system supported by a unified theory.Empirical research often explores the effectiveness of a certain type of sports or cognitive intervention, without comprehensively analyzing and integrating policy effectiveness.Empirical research is biased toward the micro level, and theoretical research is biased toward the macro level, lacking a unified connection.Foreign scholars have done a lot of research on mobile phone intervention as a kind of media intervention, and developed a mature theory-parental monitoring theory, used to explain the intervention of parents on children's viewing and Internet use. However, due to domestic and international socio-economic culture differences, the media intervention behavior of the parental monitoring theory has not been applied to mobile phone intervention. This article combines the focus of mobile phone dependence among young people in rural areas in China.Based on the parental monitoring theory, the mobile phone intervention system is classified into an active mobile phone intervention strategy and a passive mobile phone intervention strategy.Characteristics put forward the theoretical model and hypothesis of this study.Based on field experiment data of 204 rural junior high school students with mobile phone intervention, this paper analyzes the difference between rebellious and alert motivations of young people in rural areas after two different mobile phone intervention strategies, and discusses how different mobile phone intervention strategies affect young people's psychological motivation to indulge in food consumption, and analyze the adjustment effect of learning pressure and family socioeconomic status on mobile phone intervention types and indulgence in food consumption. Finally, this article puts forward policy suggestions for the implementation of mobile phone intervention for young students in primary and secondary schools in rural areas. This article explains the current situation and psychological characteristics of mobile phone use among young students in rural areas to a certain extent.Through regression analysis, the main conclusions of this article are as follows:(1)under different mobile phone intervention strategies, the subsequent indulgence of food consumption by young people in rural areas is different.Passive intervention strategies will lead to an increase in the subsequent indulgence of food consumption by adolescents, while active intervention strategies will lead to a decrease in the subsequent indulgence of food consumption.Specifically, when young people in rural areas face passive mobile phone intervention strategies, they will not only consume more indulgent food consumption, but also consume more expensive.(2)Reverse motivation mediates the effect of passive mobile phone intervention strategies on indulging food consumption.Compared with active mobile phone intervention strategies, passive intervention strategies will lead to more counter-motives for adolescents.(3)The alert motivation mediates the effect of active mobile phone intervention strategies on indulging food consumption.Compared with passive mobile phone intervention strategies, active intervention strategies will lead to more alert motivation for adolescents.(4)Learning pressure regulates the relationship between mobile phone intervention strategies and adolescents 'counter-motivation.When the learning pressure is lower, passive mobile phone intervention strategies lead to a higher degree of rebellion than active mobile phone intervention strategies. On the other hand, learning pressure partially regulates the relationship between mobile phone intervention strategies and adolescents' motivation to wake up.(5)The socioeconomic status of the family regulates the relationship between the motivational state of young people in rural areas and the indulgence of food consumption.Specifically, the high family socioeconomic status in rural areas enhances the positive relationship between adverse motivation and indulgent food consumption, and also enhances the negative relationship between alert motivation and indulgent food consumption. Finally, based on the analysis results, combined with the current education resources in rural areas and the current situation of mobile phone use among young people, this article puts forward some policy suggestions on how to effectively carry out mobile phone interventions to young students in rural areas and avoid more indulgent food consumption in the future.
