With the promotion of "3 + 3" of the new college entrance examination reform,chemistry is no longer a subject in the traditional "science".As one of the three elective subjects,how to highlight the discipline advantage of chemistry and mobilize students' interest and enthusiasm in learning chemistry under this background is a problem that needs to be paid attention to at present.In addition,the edition of the 2017 new chemical curriculum standard,the goal of chemical discipline is not only to learn knowledge,but also to cultivate students' core quality of chemical discipline.At present,most teachers mainly adopt the traditional teaching method in the teaching of element compound knowledge.As a result,students' interest in learning is not strong and their participation in learning is not high.Although students may learn plenty of knowledge in traditional way,their capacity and literacy for science are not improved.However,Project-based teaching is a teaching method designed to be solved by students by selecting teaching situations related to real life.It allows students to understand and internalize the specific and complete knowledge,improve their capacity through practicing and experiencing,and then exploring and innovating.It can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students,cultivate their abilities of thinking,practical ability and core literacy.And it can meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards and the new college entrance examination reform.This research is based on the student-centered teaching concept,constructivism learning theory and cognitive teaching theory,mainly using literature research,questionnaire survey,experimental research and interviews as research methods.By sorting out a large number of literature,the definition,characteristics and general process of project-based teaching and the research status at home and abroad are sorted out.And the investigation results of element and compound learning status of senior high school students were analyzed.Combined with the new curriculum concept and the reality of students,three teaching cases of element compounds were designed,including "The manufacture and use of chlorine-containing disinfectant","The production of project-based valence of nitrogen element-class two-dimensional diagram",and "The test and transformation of iron element in spinach" The project based on teaching cases of three element compounds "element testing and transformation" are carried out in Senior One students by taking advantage of the opportunity of educational practice.After analyzing the data of students' pre-test and post test results and the results of students' interviews,it is found that the project-based teaching plays an active role in improve students' chemistry scores and cultivating students' chemical core literacy.Through this research,the author has developed an inquiry-based project-based teaching model,and designed three teaching cases according to the model.Through the implementation of the teaching cases,the author has come up with a proposal to carry out project-based teaching in middle school chemistry.And the author hopes to draw on the excellent teaching experience of predecessors,and continue to improve and deepen the research on project-based teaching.At the same time,I hope that the projectbased teaching can be more widely used in chemistry teaching.
