At the National College Ideological and Political Work Conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed that: “Ideological and political theory courses must be strengthened in improvement,Enhancing the affinity of ideological and political education to meet the needs and expectations of students' growth and development.” It is a new breakthrough for the reform of Ideological and political theory courses.As a core course of ideological and political education for college students,the ideological and political theory courses play an important educational part in helping college students to establish correct ideals and beliefs,cultivating college students 'political qualities,and improving college students' moral cultivation.However,with the continuous changes in the external environment and the changes in the group structure of college students,the current ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities still have problems of low head-up rate and low affinity.It's time for improving the affinity of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities and enhancing the educational function of ideological and political theory courses.Not only does it play an important role in promoting the growth of college students,but also it plays a great role in promoting the implementation of fundamental task of cultivating moral character in universities.The article focuses on the affinity of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.It mainly follows the thinking logic of “what”,“why” and “how”.Based on the analysis of the massive literature and the research achievement in practice,this article first explains the connotation of the affinity of ideological and political theory courses in colleges,traces the theoretical basis,and expounds the application value of the improvement of the affinity of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.Then investigating the affinity of the ideological and political theory courses by use of the methods such as questionnaire,interview and observation,and the investigation which objected to the college students was designed from the constituent elements of the affinity of ideological and political theory courses such as educators,education objects,teaching content,teaching methods and teaching environment.Immediately after,we found some problems in the current affinity of ideological and political theory courses from this study,and then analyze the courses of the problems from four levels: the teaching staff,college students' subjective initiative,teaching environment and teaching evaluation system.Finally,we propose a series of solutions to solve these problems: give full play to the dual-subject role of teachers and students to enhance the empathy of teaching;optimize teaching content to enhance theattractiveness of teaching;expand teaching methods to enhance the novelty of teaching;improve the teaching environment to enhance the penetration of teaching and improve the evaluation system to enhance the integration of teaching,so as to provide reference value and reference significance for the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities in the new era.
