Primary school science and junior high school biology are the key disciplines that promote students' scientific literacy.After learning the content of the science "life world" in elementary school,students have a preliminary understanding of the laws of the life world and master the basic scientific inquiry methods.Students entering junior high school will continue to study more professional and complete sub-discipline biology.It can be said that the "life world" part of elementary school science lays the foundation for junior middle school biology and is an enlightenment course for students to understand the life world.The two are inextricably linked and inseparable.However,the author found through practice teaching that the connection between elementary school science and junior middle school biology teaching in Tongchuan City is not optimistic,and the phenomenon of intermittent connection appears.If the current connection situation can be improved,the efficiency of student learning and teacher teaching will be greatly improved.This article uses the literature research method to sort out the important concepts and theories related to this research and draw on the successful experience of the relevant scholars.Then the questionnaire survey method is used to study the actual situation of Tongchuan's teaching connection.Finally,a comparative analysis method is used to compare the two course standards and teaching materials.Finally,reasonable suggestions are proposed based on the local connection status.Through the survey,it is found that the professional rate of primary school science teachers and junior high school biology teachers is relatively low.In comparison,the professional rate and academic qualifications of primary school science teachers are lower than that of local junior high school biology teachers.In the teaching process,teachers can consider the main position of students when choosing teaching methods,but ignore the problem of whether students can adapt to the transition from elementary school to junior high school.There are intermittent teaching methods.When students enter junior high school to study biology and encounter various unsuitable situations,only a few teachers timely and systematically guide the learning method.Both biology teachers and science teachers believe that scientific knowledge has a foundational role in the later stage of biological knowledge,but very few teachers have conducted in-depth research and exchange learning on the two-stage curriculum standards and textbooks.In short,the two-stage teachers have a shallow sense of teaching connection,Need to be strengthened.At the same time,through the investigation,students also found that students have an impression of primary school science knowledge.Most students think that primary school science and junior high school biology are related in content,and the fun and difficulty have increased.Many students cannot adapt to this change,which requires Teachers in the two phases attach importance to the problem of educational convergence and prevent students from being afraid of biology.Judging from the comparison of the two curriculum standards and textbooks,elementary school science and junior high school biology are both basic courses,which are committed to cultivating students' scientific literacy and promoting inquiry-based learning methods.However,each stage of learning has its own focus.Primary school science pays more attention to maintaining students 'scientific interest and curiosity,requiring students to know and understand life phenomena.The content of learning knowledge is simple and easy to understand,and experimental methods are mostly based on observation and imitation;However,the difficulty of junior high school biology knowledge increases,which requires higher ability of students.In short,the distribution of knowledge in the "life world" of elementary school science seems to be loose.In fact,it follows the logical sequence of "individual characteristics,changing characteristics to the system".From simple to complex,the student knowledge system is constructed step by step,corresponding to the content of junior high school biology textbook,There is a gradual relationship.Finally,in order to successfully complete the teaching connection between Tongchuan Primary School Science and Junior Middle School Biology,the following suggestions are made on the basis of the preliminary work: teachers need to strengthen the teaching connection awareness;realize the teaching method connection between the two semesters;attach importance to students Guidance of learning methods;reasonable arrangement of teaching content to achieve the convergence of curriculum standards and relevant knowledge of teaching materials;education departments build platforms to enhance teacher exchanges;strengthen the construction of professional teaching teams.
