Education,Tunisia's education system, like many other middle-wealth countries in southern Africa, although it is easy to achieve quantified progress at different levels of education,is now more important than ever to reorient education.Through the current internationalization of education policies, globalization and cooperation in the field of education,Tunisia, like other countries in the South, tends to introduce models that are not always compatible with its economic, social and cultural background. This article focuses on the reform of the basic education stage and its perspectives to improve the quality of education services for young people. This article analyzes the developments brought about by the recent reforms of the Tunisian education system. From what is happening in other countries of the Arab world,it can be seen that the shift from focusing on “quantity” to focusing on “quality” is difficult. The country is facing the challenge of improving its education system, while also being pressured by external constraints and time constraints of globalization. This article is mainly divided into five chapters. The first chapter defines the core concepts designed in this article: basic education, quantitative model, quality model, and Chinese compulsory education. It is based on the theory of equalization of resource allocation, educational management theory, and quality theory.core.The second chapter analyzes the history, main summary, existing problems and causes of Tunisia's basic education system.Review the development of the education system under French colonialism before the 1990 s,and summarize the history of Tunisia's basic education after independence in the 21 st century. Then analyze the connotation and goals, subjects and characteristics of the basic education system. Finally, the problems and causes of basic education are analyzed from multiple perspectives. The third chapter mainly analyzes the basic model and effect of basic education reform. On the basic model of the basic education reform,it mainly analyzes the model from the four educations of primary school, middle school, vocational education and lifelong learning, and analyzes the effect of the basic education reform. The fourth chapter briefly analyzes the main content of China's compulsory education system reform from the four dimensions of government, school, curriculum and family and society, analyzes the effect of system reform from the data, and makes a brief evaluation of system reform.Chapter five puts forward effective countermeasures from four perspectives. On the surface,Tunisia has made remarkable achievements in education.Access to primary and secondary schools is increasing every year. However, despite the greatly expanded access to education, the quality of basic education remains questionable. The reform of the Tunisian education system needs to integrate a dialectical view of the relationship between education and economic development. In addition,multi-level educational links such as primary, secondary, and higher education are needed. The development of an effective secondary school system requires improving the quality of basic education and regulating the flow of students into higher education.
