The basic idea of the new curriculum standard of chemistry in junior middle school points out that teachers should arouse students' curiosity of learning chemistry,enlighten students' scientific thinking and cultivate students' practical ability.ARCS motivation design model can be regarded as the most easy to operate,and the model of the system.The ARCS motivation design model proposed by Prof.Keller consists of four categories: Attention,Relevance,Confidence,Satisfaction.The model proposes to arouse students' attention in learning,arouse students' enthusiasm in learning,and help students build up self-confidence in the process of learning,and achieve self-satisfaction in the process of overcoming the difficult problems of learning.Through the literature reading,first of all,in the search and analysis of ARCS motivation design model coding system,and combined with the characteristics of junior middle school chemistry classroom teaching,to construct a suitable junior middle school chemistry classroom teaching coding.Secondly,we selected 12 junior high school chemistry quality classes as the research object to record,code and analyze the contents and links of the classroom teaching in detail.Finally,according to the specific teaching case,the use of motivational incentive strategy is analyzed one by one,which provides some opinions and suggestions for teachers' classroom teaching.Through the above research,we found that although teachers have not learned how to design instructional design according to ARCS motivational design model,some of these strategies have been widely used in chemistry quality class: " A2 Specific,R1 Experience,C2 Expectation,S2 Positive results ".In coding,we find that motivational strategies are not used alone,but cooperate with each other.so as to arouse students' attention and maintain students' motivation to learn chemistry.Through the analysis of specific cases found that teachers usually adopt the following three aspects in the teaching process: firstly,teachers adopt a variety of teaching means to arouse students' attention and stimulate students' learning motivation.Secondly,teaching activities related to the content of teaching can enhance students' curiosity and interest in learning.Thirdly,teachers help students to solve the difficult problems in classroom teaching intime,help students to build self-confidence,and emphasize the students' efforts to achieve satisfaction in learning activities.
