With the advent of the era of the knowledge economy,people have paid more and more attention to community education.The future and hope of children as a country,their education and development issues have always been concerned by society.Traditional children's education mainly focuses on family education and school education,but in the face of children's diverse growth needs,family education and school education alone are not enough.One of the important issues for thinking.With the acceleration of urbanization,the community has gradually become the main place for children's lives,which has a significant impact on the shaping of children's thoughts and values.The community provides free space for children's growth and development,which also provides a platform for the development of community education.At the same time,social work has continued to develop in many cities in China in recent years,and is gradually becoming universal.Social work plays a unique role in community service and urban construction with its professional service concept and working methods.The presence of social workers in the community further strengthens the connection between social workers and the community.Therefore,it is necessary to think about how social work can play a better role in the intervention of children's community education.Based on the author's internship experience in H community in Changsha,this article uses community work and group work methods to intervene in the community education of school-age children.Use questionnaires,interviews,and participatory observations to collect and organize relevant data,and then analyze and summarize the main problems and needs of school-age children in this community.According to the needs of children,plan and implement school counselling activities,community entertainment activities and interpersonal communication group activities.Afterwards,through interviews with parents and children,filling out an assessment questionnaire,and combining the performance and changes of the group members in the activity,the effect of social work intervention on children's community education was evaluated.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the entire process of community education activities,summarizes and summarizes some issues of social work involved in community education of school-age children,and puts forward related suggestions.
