Research On Social Support Of High-level Retired Athletes In Hunan Province

In the context of the national system,many competitive sports athletes are facing the real problem of "retirement is unemployment".Many unknown but high-level professional athletes have not achieved outstanding results in their sports careers,but have dedicated themselves.Precious youth,and after retirement,there is no other expertise except sports,it is difficult to integrate into new social roles.Although the state is very concerned about the social support of high-level retired athletes,the overall social support of high-level retired athletes has not been fundamentally improved due to various subjective and objective factors.Therefore,the continuous improvement of social support for high-level retired athletes in life,work,and health has a huge impact on the talent pool of Chinese athletes.On the one hand,it can well stabilize the training beliefs of existing athletes and maintain the inherent stability of the athlete system.On the other hand,it can attract more sports talents to join the sports industry in my country and greatly expand the talent pool.Therefore,improving and ensuring the social support of high-level retired athletes is the general trend.This article takes the high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province as the survey object,and uses the literature method and questionnaire survey method in the context of fully considering the differences in the gender,age group,education level,professional events,personal income level,and marital status of the retired athletes.Research methods such as mathematical statistics and action research methods to investigate the basic status of social support for high-level retired athletes in HunanProvince,and in-depth analysis of the constraints of social support for high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province at this stage,and propose improvements from a sociological perspective And to improve the social support measures of high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province.The research results and conclusions are as follows:(1)A statistical analysis of the status quo of social support for high-level retired athletes using mathematical statistics found that the current overall measured score of social support for high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province is 36.8198,which is lower than the theoretical average of 38.4,indicating that high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province The overall level of social support is poor.(2)The results of the social support of high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province in various dimensions are: the objective support score is7.0721,which is lower than the theoretical average of 12;and the subjective support is as high as 22.2973,which is higher than the theoretical average of 19.2;In the support cost evaluation,the score is7.4505,slightly higher than the theoretical average of 7.2.It shows that the current problems of high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province mainly include: family members are the main source of objective support,the subjective support of colleagues and neighbors is too little,and the method of support utilization is single.(3)The social support level of high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province is significantly different in demographic dimensions such as age,monthly income,and occupation category.The specific manifestations are: low-age and high-level retired athletes lack subjective support,and low-income retired athletes are high.Level athletes have insufficientutilization of support,and freelance retired high level athletes have low social support.(4)The reasons for the overall weak social support of high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province are: weak social interpersonal network,distant relationships between colleagues and neighbors,and relatively strong personal will.The main reasons for the demographic differences in social support for high-level retired athletes are: social relations affect the level of subjective support,the utilization of support and income level show a proportional relationship,and the occupation category affects the level of social support.(5)The specific measures to improve the level of social support for high-level retired athletes in Hunan Province are as follows: First,give play to the leading role of government social support,including increasing the supply of resources for social support,formulating and improving relevant laws and regulations,and improving the operating mechanism of social support The second is to enhance the cooperative ability of social organizations and social support,including enhancing the sense of responsibility of social organizations and social support,and innovating the forms of social support of social organizations;the third is to enhance the self-support of retired athletes,including improving the self-development of retired athletes Awareness and improve the level of cultural knowledge of retired athletes.
