Athletics is the foundation of other sports,known as "the mother of movement" of the title,it is strengthen physical health of students,cultivating students' good will quality,improve student ability of environmental adaptation plays a prominent role,so the track and field teaching has always been the main content of school physical education teaching,however,as the reform of the public sports in colleges and universities,track and field elective course for the development of road is not smooth,most difficult track and field elective course in colleges,some universities even choose cancel the track and field elective courses,the occurrence of these phenomena,thoughtprovoking.This paper USES the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and literature to investigate and analyze the current situation of track and field elective courses in anhui province,aiming to explore the existing problems of track and field elective courses in colleges and universities,and put forward development countermeasures according to the problems and relevant influencing factors.Through investigation,it is found that the track and field elective course is facing the following problems: The importance of track and field elective course is gradually weakened;The teaching content of track and field elective course is lagging behind;Insufficient allocation of basic resources for track and field elective courses;Teachers' confidence in the teaching of track and field elective course decreases;Students' lack of interest and identity in track and field elective courses;The development environment of track and field elective courses needs to be improved.The influencing factors of the problem are as follows:1.The school does not pay enough attention to the elective course of track and field,and the hardware facilities of track and field teaching are not perfect,which limits the development of teaching to some extent.At the same time,the learning atmosphere of track and field after class is not strong,which makes it difficult to stimulate students' learning enthusiasm.2.Track and field course goal is clear,but the execution is insufficient,the teaching contents,the phenomenon of the "template" teaching,lack of innovative,single quantitative appraisal way,easy to reduce the students' self-confidence,lead to the teaching effect is not ideal,at the same time high school learning phase track and field course experience has influenced the college students' interest in track and field elective course.3.Teachers do not have a deep understanding of track and field elective courses,the proportion of teachers in track and field major is low,and teachers do their teaching work without the expected plan,which not only affects the development of track and field elective courses,but also affects the teaching effect of track and field elective courses.4.The changing demand orientation of college students' participation in physical education courses,the lack of dialectical view of track and field sports,the level of college students' existing track and field sports skills,and the gender difference of college students all affect the enthusiasm of participating in track and field elective courses.5.The changes in the public physical education curriculum environment,material and cultural environment,and the broadcasting environment of track and field events have an impact on the way and concept of college students' participation in sports activities.It is found that to improve the quality of track and field elective courses in colleges and universities,it is necessary to construct a diversified system of activities and create a strong atmosphere of track and field sports.Improve the public physical education curriculum system,strengthen the importance of track and field elective courses;Break through "template" teaching and build open classroom;Pay attention to students' sports needs and enhance students' interest in track and field learning;We advocate the sharing of track and field resources and optimize the development environment of track and field.
