In the final analysis,international competition is the competition of talents.The training of talents depends on the development of education.Educational informatization has always been an important focus in the field of national education.With the coming of information era,online learning has become the extension and supplement of classroom teaching.The development and application of online learning provide supporting conditions for hybrid teaching,flipped classroom and autonomous learning,fully reflecting the teaching concept of "learning-centered".But at present,there are some problems in the way of online learning for college students:during the process of learning,students do not actively ask questions,the participation is not high enough,the interest in learning is reduced,and the dropout rate is high.The main reason is the students' lack of interest in learning.At present,although there are many related researches on how to stimulate students' interest in learning,most of them are based on the theory or experience of strategy summary,In other words,we need to solve this problem on comprehensive and systematic ways.Aiming at the current phenomenon of students' learning interest decrease in online learning,this study utilize virtual reality technology as an important means and ARCS Motivation Theory as the theoretical basis to stimulate students' learning interest and teaching support,combine the elements of teaching mode,and then constructs an online interest-stimulating teaching mode guided by virtual reality technology to improve students' learning interest.The characteristics of the teaching mode are that the four elements of the ARCS Motivation theory correspond to different stages of the teaching process,which is conducive to the teaching design of teachers,and also conducive to students' maintaining a high level of interest in learning at all stages of learning.Based on this model,With unity platform,the virtual reality resources of online course of "tourism common sense" are developed.Based on the online course,the online interest-stimulating teaching mode supported by virtual reality is applied and practiced.Finally,according to questionnaires and interview tools,we verify the impact of the teaching mode on students' interest in learning,and draw the following conclusions based on the data analysis.The research shows that the online interest-stimulating teaching mode supported by virtual reality technology can effectively alleviate the phenomenon of students' learning interest reduction;And this mode also has different influence on four learning dimensions,which affects more on attention(A),self-confidence(C),satisfaction(S),while less on correlation(R),but still has a significant influence.In addition,using this model can effectively alleviate the differences between male and female students' interest in learning online courses.This may provide reference for the combination of online learning and virtual reality technology in the future.
