This article mainly takes physical optics contents in senior high school as research object,and analyzes the changes in content development.Based on the role that optics plays in human history,this article introduces the fact that optics hasn't been effectively used in our life,so we are encouraged to explore knowledge related to optics in current society.Secondly,this article conducts research on the changes in senior high school physics standard and outline since the foundation of China.Based on a comparison of curriculum standard between the old and the new,this article finds out that the invariant knowledge point of physical optics contents in senior high school is Refraction and Total Reflection of Light.Students are required to learn these two,while these two are also difficult points in high school physics education.Thirdly,based on class teaching,the author conducts a unique survey which named the study status of physical optics in senior high school on the selected objects who are the students in senior grade three by questionnaires.Additionally,the author also conducts an interview to 10 physics teachers who are in the front line of Physics Teaching in senior high schools.According to the result,the author infers problems in student's study,teacher's teaching concept,and the change in optics content after years of curriculum reform.The key point,is to focus on a comparison between the old textbook and the new one since foundation of China,find out the changes and reasons.Meanwhile,we are aware that in order to improve quality and efficiency of physical optics teaching in senior high school,a curriculum reform is of great urgency.Physical optics in senior high school is a key point and a difficult one in learning.Thus,aimed to improve student's learning efficiency in optics,optimize a more suitable teaching strategy,allow students to accept learning more actively,the author discusses about the enlightenment of this research to current education at the end of my article according to the problems found in analysis above.
