This paper uses "progressive error correction method" to guide students.To help students learn the progressive error correction method.Through the comparison of mathematics mid-term test paper results and mid-term spaer test paper results,to analyze the effectiveness and applicability of ‘progressive error correction method in boys and girls,students with weak learning foundation and good learning foundation.To help students deepen existing knowledge and build a knowledge system and network.To help students cultivate interest and confidence in learning mathematics,and improve students' mathematical accomplishment.At the same time,the method can help teachers find out problems in teaching in time,improve the educational work targeted and effective and promote teachers' professional growth through practical research.By using t-test method,we compare the results of mid-term exam and mid-term spare exam and final exam of the experimental group and the control group,the main results of data analysis are as follows:(1)In mid-term examination,the average score of the experimental group and the control group was 60.68 and 63.11 respectively.In mid-term spare exam,the experimental group and the control group had a comparative result of math scores.The average score of the control group was 51.36 points,the average score of the experimental group was 76.69 points,P value is 0.00< 0.05.In the final examination,the average score of the control group was 48.07 points,the average score of the experimental group was 58.18 points,P value was 0.03 < 0.05.(2)In the experimental group,the scores of the spare exam were 13 points higher than the mid-term scores,P < 0.05;(3)The results of the mid-term test of the male and female students in the experimental group were higher than those of the mid-term spare test.(4)Students with good learning foundation and students with weak learning foundation got 8 points and 19 points higher than those in mid-term examination respectively.The conclusion of this paper is as follows:(1)Progressive error correction can effectively improve the learning effect of junior high school students.(2)Progressive error correction method has a significant effect on both male and female students.(3)Progressive error correction method can be used for students with weak learning foundation and good learning foundation,especially for students with weak learning foundation.
