Self-management ability refers to a person's ability to effectively control his/her emotions,thoughts and behaviors in various circumstances to achieve positive developmental and adaptive psychological qualities.In children's Social and Emotional Learning(SEL),children's self-management abilities are reflected by effective regulation of emotions,proper control of impulsion as well as focusing on and sticking to the tasks when facing pressures and challenges.As a key stage in the mental health development of children,preschool children need to address a series of issues related to the transfer from the preschool to the primary school.In addition to the cognitive aspects of learning,the cultivation of self-management ability is a crucial part in preschool education.Preschool children need to acquire and actively implement the basic lliving skills such as sleeping?eating?getting dressed and so on.In the existing cognitive and problem solving strategies,in different scenarios actively adjust their emotions and behaviour,improper control impulse,an active attempt to associate with peers,achieve good adapt to psychological quality,will provide the young children's elementary school readiness and social adaptation ability to lay a solid foundation in the future.This study combining domestic and worldwide researches about children's selfmanagement ability.According to the kindergarten taipans children's physical and mental development characteristics.And through the analysis of children's self-management ability,the army of young children's self-control abilities is divided into five dimensions,mainly includes: life self-care ability of management,cognitive management,emotional management,behavioral management,Social networking management.Taking the preschool children of L kindergarten in Kunming city,Yunnan province as the objects of investigation,this paper investigates and analyzes the status qof the self-management ability of the preschool children,and finds that the self-management ability of the preschool childrens is relatively weak and the development is not equal.Combining with the current situation of children's self-management ability,in summing up the experience of the cultivation of the related to self management ability.And by concluding self-management related cultivation experiences,a group of children at panlong L kindergarten were selected to be trained with a well-designed self-management curriculum.Then,after the intervention activities,the effectiveness of this intervention were evaluated according to the children's response.By analyzing the results from the application of intervention strategies towards the children's self-management ability,it can be concluded that comparing with the control group,the group with the intervention activities showed a dramatic improvement of preschool children's self-management skills in terms of strictly regulating their daily lives,getting used to good behaviours and set up ambitious goals for themselves.Also,in terms of cognitive management,satisfied learning strategies such as enhancement of attention and determination during the study are observed.From the aspect of emotion control,a number of children have been proved to be able to successfully identify certain emotions,effectively master negative thoughts and correctly express one's feelings.Fromthe perspective of behavior management,various effective techniques to control behaviours are well educated.Finally,during the social networking activities,a series of strategies to deal with networking and relationships issues are taught to the children.Overall,combined with the experience in the implementation of intervention education activities,this paper summarizes the Methodologies and suggestions for the cultivation of self-management ability of children in senior classes.It also provides a basis and evidence for kindergartens to develop related activities...
