The elementary school badminton traditional project school is the basis for the popularization of campus badminton and the cultivation of reserve talents for competitive badminton.Therefore we must attach great importance to the construction of traditional badminton schools in primary schools and continue to innovate.With further development and better utilization of badminton teaching resources,not only the construction of traditional badminton schools in primary education will be strengthened,but also more exploration and innovation will take place in the cultivation of badminton talents.This article studies the development of badminton teaching resources in the Guangzhou Elementary School Badminton Tradition Project,examines the degree of the development of elementary school badminton teaching resources,analyzes the existing problems,and explores the approaches and countermeasures for future development.Making full use of literature information method,questionnaire survey method,interview survey method,participatory observation method,and mathematical statistics method,the author aims at conducting a thorough investigation into the teaching facilities,human resources,teaching activities,teaching funds,competition training and other aspects of traditional badminton schools.The conclusions are as follows :1.Various aspects of the badminton teaching resources for primary school,such as teaching facilities,human resources,teaching activities,special funds,and competition training,have been made use of and developed to some extent.Firstly,the development of teaching facilities has been emphasized.To be more specific,more spaces are constrcuted or transformed into badminton courts and more support are dedicated to off-campus equipment.Secondly,in terms of the development of human resources;large amount of importance has been attached to boosting the cultivation of teaching faculty,student talents except for the school team and strengthening the home-school collaboration through the Internet.Thirdly,as for the teaching activities,attention has been focused on the develipment of school-based textbook,the interdisciplinary integration and expansion,the creation of the interesting positional teaching activities,and the better utilization of scientific and technological means to assist badminton teaching.Fourthly,based on the currrent status of teaching funding,further development mainly starts from seeking social support and sponsorship.Fifthly,according to the present training situation,,the amount of time dedictaed to this area is urged to increase and more places which are suitable for providing the badminton talents with more professional training are expected to be explored.Last but not least,an increasing number of schools are taking the initiative to innovate the campus badminton activities,playing an active part in various competitions,and enriching resources for off-campus events.2.The problems in the development of elementary school badminton teaching resources still exist: the lack of systematization and pertinence,having some policies which may potentially hinder further development,inadequate human resource development,lacking in supervision of off-campus clubs,lagging in updating the content of some badminton teaching materials and failing to perfect the traditional badminton competition.3.Combining the development of education and sports in Guangzhou,the author puts forward the following countermeasures: first of all,shift the focus of the development of teaching resources;second,strengthen the basic guarantee for future resource development;third,deepen the cultivation of the teaching faculty;fourth,improve the supervision of clubs outside the schools;fifth,update the badminton teaching materials and the competition activity system.
