The topic of sexual harassment is highly sensitive and delicate.Both sex and power are involved in sexual harassment,usually women are harassed by men.Sometimes when the women experience the problem of sexual harassment usually they don't complain and don't report to the top management.Sexual harassment should be addressed on time,if necessary measures are not taken on time it will worsen the situation in the workplace.It is the whole duty and responsibility of the employers to ensure and provide smooth working environment for the employee free of discrimination and free of harassment.Sexual harassment destroys working life,it effects both psychological and physical health of the woman.Sexual harassment lowers productivity,diminishes organizational commitment,decreases job satisfaction,high labor turnover and also it is a great loss to the organization.The primary objective of the present study is to find out sexual harassment of female employees and recognize its impacts on job satisfaction and turnover intention in the ministry of economy,Kabul Afghanistan.To find out whether sexual harassment exists and does it have impact on job satisfaction and turnover intentions of the employees.For this purpose the primary data is being collected through a structured questionnaire developed as per the need of the research.The questionnaire was distributed to all female central staff of the ministry of economy,the central female staff constitutes 40 employees,28 have successfully responded to the survey.The data analysis clearly shows that a large number of the employees are sexually harassed which has affected the performance of these victims in the workplace.Carefully observing the data we come to know that the problem of sexual harassment has decreased job satisfaction and increased the chances and likelihood of employee turnover intentions.Majority of the employees have agreed and strongly agreed that they will quit their jobs in the next year.The employees might have suffered or might be still suffering several other impacts of sexual harassment as we didn't include them under this research study.
