The Poverty Causing Factors And Mechanism Of Urban Poor Migrant Population

Under the guidance of the targeted poverty alleviation strategy,decisive achievements have been made in the rural poverty alleviation campaign.After 2020,the campaign has won in an all-round way.China will enter the post poverty alleviation period,and the focus of poverty alleviation will gradually shift from absolute poverty to solving the problem of relative poverty.With the acceleration of urbanization in China,large-scale population migration and cross administrative region mobility have become a significant and normal social phenomenon in the transformation of social and economic structure,the number of urban migrant population has increased dramatically.After the intercity,their social support network has been divided to some extent,and because of the failure to equally enjoy the public services in the cities where they enter,or other reasons,they have become urban low-income groups and even fall into poverty.Compared with urban residents' poverty and rural poverty,their poverty problems are more complex.In the post poverty alleviation period,the poverty problem of urban migrant population will surely attract more attention.In order to solve the poverty problem of urban migrant population,it is necessary to understand the formation mechanism of poverty and grasp the factors that cause poverty.Based on the actual poverty situation of urban migrant population,this paper takes the methods of factor analysis,correlation analysis,logistic regression and intermediary effect test on the basis of combing the existing research on urban migrant population poverty.The structural theory and social support network theory are used to construct the analysis framework of poverty factors of urban poor migrant population,the poverty factors of urban poor migrant population are analyzed from four dimensions: structural rules,structural resources,individual consciousness and social support network.The analysis results show that the effect of structural rules on poverty is not significant,structural resources are negatively correlated with poverty at the level of 99.9%,and personal consciousness is negatively correlated with poverty at the level of 95%,the social support network showed a significant negative correlation with poverty at 99% level.At the same time,the results show that social support network is indeed the intermediary variable of the relationship between structural resources and poverty,individual consciousness and poverty,and it plays a part of the intermediary effect,accounting for 8.16% and 30.61% of the total effect respectively.Based on the above analysis results,it is concluded that resource limitation is the basic factor,lack of individual consciousness is the important factor,and lack of social support network is the key factor among the poverty-causing factors of urban poor migrant population.Based on this,this paper puts forward three countermeasures and suggestions for the anti-poverty of the urban poor migrant population: balanced resource allocation and coordinated assistance;stimulating the awareness of the main body,mobilizing the endogenous power;building a multiple social support network,promoting social integration to improving the national urban anti-poverty system.
