The Influence Of Family Ritual And Sibling Relationship Quality On Parochial Altruism Of Firstborn Children Aged 4?6

With the opening of the second-birth policy,the two-birth families in our country will gradually increase.The birth of the sister will affect the physical and mental development of the individual and the social relations.Usually,we pay more attention to caring for the young,which makes it easy to ignore the physical and mental health and development of older children in the family.In fact,this group of older children,which we call first-child children,are facing stronger role changes and environmental changes,resulting in psychological changes and problems that may lead to a series of behaviors.By studying these behaviors,we can analyze the psychology of children,find solutions,explore educational suggestions,and help first-child children grow up healthily and happily.In this study,150 first-born children and their parents were selected from 5kindergartens.First of all,the questionnaire,Family rules questionnaire and sibling relationship quality questionnaire were sent to the tested families.At the same time,the development of the narrow altruistic behavior of the children with the first-born child was observed by using the experiment method and the usage table.To explore the relationship between family rule,the quality of the sibling relationship and the narrow altruistic behavior of the child.Finally,the following results are obtained:(1)There was no significant gender and age difference in the parochial altruism of children from 4-6 years of age.(2)4~6 year old first child's non-kinship parochial altruistic behavior,the kinship altruistic behavior appears the number difference with age.And the number of kinship altruistic behavior is more than that of non-kinship parochial altruistic behavior.(3)The age difference of around 4 years may be an important interval between changes in the quality of the first child's sibling relationship.The quality of sibling relationship is different in gender consistency between first child and second child,and the quality of sibling relationship between first child and second child is better.(4)Family rules were positively correlated with the quality of child sibling relationships.Family rules are positively correlated with Parochial altruistic behavior ofchildren aged 4 to 6 years.Compatriot relationship quality is positively correlated with narrow altruistic behavior of 4~6 year old first child and has positive predictive effect.(5)The quality of sibling relationship plays an intermediary role in the influence of family rules on the Parochial altruistic of the first child.In view of the above analysis,the author puts forward the corresponding educational suggestions: first,to construct reasonable family rules to promote children's sibling relationship;second,to treat children's narrow altruistic behavior reasonably and intervene in time;third,to pay attention to the influence of the quality of children's sibling relationship on children's behavior and reasonably intervene in the communication of children.
