History teaching material is the basis for teachers to carry out history teaching in classroom teaching,and it is also an important basis for students to learn knowledge.It is also an important carrier of history knowledge.With the further deepening of the reform of national basic curriculum teaching materials,history teaching materials are one of the objects of the reform of national basic curriculum teaching materials.The reform of national basic curriculum teaching material makes the content of teaching material more scientific and reasonable,which can also better serve teachers and students.Since 2016,there have been great changes in junior high school history textbooks,which were approved and compiled by the Ministry of education and popularized nationwide.A large number of historical pictures are selected in the junior high school history textbook compiled by the Ministry.Because of the limited space of the textbook,many of the contents can not be described in detail in words,which can play a supplementary role in explaining the relevant textbook pictures of this part,and students can also further master the content with the help of historical pictures.At the same time,because the picture of the teaching material is vivid and colorful,the picture of the history teaching material plays an important role in the history study of the students.Because the images are vivid and colorful,which is more in line with the psychological characteristics of students at this stage,their thirst for knowledge can also be aroused.Therefore,in the actual teaching,teachers can better complete the teaching activities and help students to improve their historical thinking ability by using the pictures of teaching materials scientifically.In this paper,the use of teaching material pictures in junior high school history teaching is the main body of research,and literature search method,induction and summary method,comparative analysis method and so on are the research methods of this paper.This paper explains the meaning of pictures in the history textbook of junior high school compiled by the Ministry,and divides the kinds of pictures in the history textbook of junior high school compiled by the ministry according to the standard of the content and form of pictures combined with the actual needs.It also studies and summarizes the characteristics of the pictures of junior middle school history textbooks compiled by the Ministry.In addition,the paper discusses the application of thepictures in the teaching of junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry.This paper consists of five parts,the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research status,research significance,research methods used in this paper,and the innovation of this paper.The second part contains an overview of the pictures of the junior high school history textbook compiled by the Ministry.It includes the definition of pictures and historical pictures,as well as the classification of pictures in junior middle school history textbooks compiled by the Ministry.The third part is about the characteristics of the pictures of the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry of education.By comparing with the pictures of the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry of education in 2001,the author concludes that the pictures of the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education have the same characteristics as the pictures of the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry of education in 2001,which are vivid,authentic,intuitive,resourceful,as well as the individual characteristics of the pictures of the historical textbook compiled by the Ministry of education.The fourth part is the main part of this paper.It studies the application of the pictures in the teaching of the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry.It mainly discusses the significance,principles,methods and problems that should be paid attention to when using the pictures in the junior middle school history textbook compiled by the Ministry.The fifth part is the conclusion.Again,it explains the main research points of this paper,and the shortcomings of this paper.
